I had enjoyed every moment at my parent's house yesterday, It's always a joy hanging out with my family and yesterday was extra special because of my good news. It's been two days now since I saw Jason, I don't think I'm ever going to forget my meeting with him, it was my favorite meeting ever, how could it not be? I haven't met anyone as handsome as him, so it was a pleasure. He should be awarded for his good looks seriously, it's not easy to have a face like that, very rare.

His assistant had sent me the paper work and he was making a very generous contribution. In addition to that, we've agreed to organize a charity event, to raise more funds so we can help as much as we can. I feel terrible to know that, while I sleep every night on my massive king size bed, some kids don't have a place to lay their heads. We're planning on going in November, a date hasn't been fixed yet but we'll be there for a week.

My phone rang, I didn't have to pick it up to know who it was, my wonderful mother has been calling me, reminding me of our outing tomorrow which I'm wasn't looking forward to.

I love shopping and a massage would be really nice but of course, she'd ruin it with her lecture on "Why Alicia is not married 101?" Why didn't men enjoy shopping? I'm sure dad would make a better companion, well If she can make Jason fall in love with me, I might just grant her wishes.

When I got home that day, I phoned Rose, she's been too busy with fashion week, which of course is a huge deal that we haven't spoken. She sent me a link the day we had dinner with our folks, it was for a website, the name had caught my attention and I hadn't had time to ask her, what the heck was "The Single Ladies Club?" I knew my relationship situation was bad, but surely I wasn't going to be single for the rest of my life, I hope not when they're men like Jason is in this world, I didn't think my situation was so bad that I needed intervention.

"Single ladies club, really Rosie? It's a club for ladies who are so desperate and maybe too ugly to get a man and they created this club to make themselves feel better." I yelled at her. She's very lucky she's not in the same room with me, else, I would have strangled her.

"Sorry Al, I thought you'd like it, you've been through a lot and you're getting it all wrong, it's not for ugly, sad ladies, did you even read down?" She scolded. I didn't even open the link, the name itself scared me away.

"Well, I didn't click on the link."

"Can you imagine? You haven't even found out what it's all about. Look, it's for ladies who have also being cheated on and just having some girl-bonding time, you could actually learn from each other."

"I don't want anybody to know I've been cheated on, it's private Rosie, private! How could I possibly open up to strangers about my life?" I asked, more like screamed.

"Look Alicia, you're going to join that Club, stop whining, besides, the founder is a qualified relationship therapist, just call them, I promise if you do, I'll introduce you to Taylor Swift." No she didn't, my sisters jobs provided them with the opportunity to mingle with the popular crowd, and I sometimes felt jealous when they uploaded selfies with pop stars and famous models on Instagram.

"I've been begging you to do that and I can't believe you're bribing me, I've always wanted to meet her," I said. She was really annoying.

"Just a little price to pay to meet Taylor, I can't believe you're even thinking about it."

"Ok fine, I will." Look what you caused Taylor, there's no way I'd let my chance to meet her pass by, even if it means joining the stupid club.

"You have until next week so, I'd advise you to make that call really soon, also go like their Facebook page, bye sis, love you."
