Before the enemy could shoot, however, a friendly titan landed straight on top of him. I realized it was mine. I smirk to myself. I ran to my now standing titan. "Pilot, are you alright?" She asked. I nod. "We complete the link, pilot." She told me.
My eyes widen. I mentally groaned. Why couldn't I just already be linked. "Right now?" I ask her.
"Yes."
"Alright, I guess." I said before she crouched down and opened her hatch. I took a deep breath and got in. She closed her hatch and everything was dark.
"Protocol 1: link with pilot." Appearing in front of me and she said it. Green dots and streaks appear across my vision and I felt a fizzy feeling throughout my body. I breathing quickened. Then it stopped and I felt it. The link. It wasn't a weird feeling. It was more like a safe feeling.
"Protocol 2: uphold the mission. We must got the object back from IMC control." She said. "Protocol 3: protect the pilot."
Then everything went bright before I could finally see the battle field again. I saw that we had lost a bit of damage cause we were just standing there. I immediately looked around and shot at any enemy grunt or spectres. "Enemy titanfall detected." I used my one dash to back off from the scene, in case the pilot wanted to drop on top of me.
Turns out, they did. They landed right where I was standing. A enemy pilot hopped into his titan. "You ready?" I slightly against the metal of my titan. I need to figure out her name.
"Yes, pilot. Are you?" She returned it.
I sigh. "I don't know." I admitted and I don't think she like that answer.
The titan was a Northstar and they were alright heating up their gun. I quickly put up my particle wall and shot at the titan, pinning him as I hit him. I finally hit him three times and I had a lock but my shield went down and he released his fired up gun. I tried to dodge but failed.
It brought down my health but I fired my missiles at him. Which he tried to dodge, but they were locked onto him and he couldn't escape them. I smirk in victory, but I knew this battle wasn't over yet. I used a building as cover as I tried to lock on again.
He was good and also used a building for cover. I threw out my sonar lock. And saw him behind the building heating up his gun. He was aiming at me, so I decided to be a little tricky. I came out from cover but quickly went back into cover. He shot and missed.
I shot at him and got two hits on him. Come on, one more. I jump out from cover and ran to his. He was reloading his gun. I shot him again and fired my locked on missiles. He wasn't too happy and flew into the air to fire down on me. I immediately backed off and put up my shield. It didn't do much because he was in the air. I did the best I could with dodging bullets while firing back at him. Finally he came back down and I ran at him before smashing my fist into his face. He stumbled backwards, but got up again to face me.
He dropped his gun ran at me. I did the same, but I didn't expect him to grab me again bring me into the air. He tried to drop me, but I managed to grab his arm. We fell to the ground and I put him before so he hit the ground first. I smashed him with my weight as we hit the ground.
I got out of my titan found the enemy titan's battery. I took it and inserted it into my titan. "You know, I never learned your name." I told her.
"I am Bravo-Kilo 3728, but I am called BK for short." She tells me.
I tilt my head. "BK? Can I call you B instead?" I ask.
She ponders this for a moment. "I suppose that is acceptable." She states.
