Past Time Pop

~ROBINS POV~

I was staring at BB in shock. He hasn’t shut up in ten minutes!! He’s sitting there, telling us his lives story while sucking on a stupid lollipop! And plus, he’s only got to the age of ten so far. We still had to listen to four more years!

Raven had a pillow over her head, Cyborg had his hands over his ears and Star just looked shocked.

Venus was slamming her head against the wall. Cat/Kitten trying to fight a smile and Flame was just laughing his head off.

A few minutes later- we were in the age of like twelve now- Raven threw her pillow at him. “Make him shut up now!” she shouted.

“No way, this is hilarious!” Flame laughed.

Venus sighed, and walked up to Beastboy. “Will you please fast forward?” she asked.

Beastboy looked at her, then continued where he left off.

“I didn’t mean to trip him, though, it was an accident...” he went on, and on, and on.

“Cat, help me!” Venus plead.

“How? I didn’t invent the stupid candy!” she said. “Flame, how do you turn him off?” she asked him.

“It’s a prototype. You can’t turn him off,” Flame said, smiling.

I’m going to strangle him,” Cat said to Venus.

She nodded. “I’ll help.”

“And then, when I met Robin, I had this awesome mask, but Cyborg didn’t like it, and Star was all crazy ‘cause she didn’t speak English and then when Robin took these weird handcuffs off her, she kissed him, and I was thinking-“

“Please shut up!” Venus shouted. “Fast forward, something!”

Beastboy blinked, then sucked on his lollipop again. “Ok... hmm... oh! Ok so then one day, we were fighting Slade, and all of a sudden this girl came out of no where and blew all of Slade’s minions away. And then we found out that it was Kaelyn and she was Robins sister. She was hot too, and...,” Beastboy went on my sister, and I tuned out. I really didn’t want to hear this.

I realized that Venus, Cat/Kitten, and Flame had stiffened when BB mentioned Kaelyn. Venus looked away from Beastboy. “Please, fast forward again,” Cat/Kitten said. “Go to the part where you decided to come to Twin City.”

Beastboy nodded. “Ok, so we were all at the tower, it was mourning. And then this guy came up on the computer, and Robin said it was Kaelyn’s dad, so we all went out, wanting revenge, you know? But he was strong, and he called himself the commander, and then it was like one minute he was there, and then he was gone. So we went back home and we all decided that we wanted to go after him, you know? So the next day, we came here, and we were keeping to the shadows when these three ninja people knocked us out. And then I kinda woke up, but I was kinda asleep, you know? And I heard Flame call her Kitten, but she said she hated you calling her that, and then you guys said things like us breaking our promise and stuff, and then someone kinda kicked my hand and called us idiots, then I fell asleep again. And then I woke up again, and someone was talking to that ‘Doc’ guy. Then I fell asleep again. Then someone was sitting at the end of my bed, and you two were talking-“ he pointed to Venus and Flame-“and you guys said something about ‘Kitten’ or whatever, and then you guys said something about Kaelyn doesn’t exist anymore, and then I fell asleep again, then I woke up, and Robin was awake, and then Flame walked in, and called in Doc, and the Venus walked in, and Cat-slash- Kitten came in, and now I’m eating a lollipop,” he finally stopped. He looked around confused. “What just happened?” he asked.

Venus sighed. “If you ever give anyone a Past Time Pop again while I’m near, I’ll kill you,” she said to Flame.

Beastboy looked at me. “What just happened?” he asked.

I glared. Now I find out that Beastboy and my sister had been sneaking around the last few das of her life.

Beastboy turned to Cyborg. “What happened?” he asked again.

Cyborg shook his head. “You kinda just told us everything that happened in your life,” he said.

Beastboy paled. “I’m dead meat,” he groaned.

Venus sighed. “I guess we should introduce ourselves...,” she said.

“Defiantly,” Cat/Kitten said. “I am Cat. Not Kitty, not Kitten, Cat. Got it?” she said, glaring at Flame.

We nodded. “Ok...,” Cyborg muttered.

“I’m Flame,” Flame said, winking at Star and Raven. “I’m the best looking guy in this place. Isn’t that right, Venus?” he asked.

“No. The complete opposite,” she said, then turned to us. “I’m Venus. Leader of the Ninjas of Twin City. Cat’s second in command, Flame third. And yes, we knew Kaelyn. We went to school together. The academy trained us to be ninjas. Kaelyn was top of the class, me second. We were all very close,” she said.

“But you guys killed her!” Beastboy shouted.

“We didn’t want too,” Flame whispered. “We were going to try and save her from The Commander. But she said she had to die,” he told us. “Remember the day before we came to town, Beastboy? She was on the phone, she told you she was talking Katherine?” he asked. “She was talking to me.”

Venus nodded. “Everyone here knew Kaelyn. We all loved her. There wasn’t anything she wouldn’t do to help others. Same goes to Katherine,” she said.

“Wait, you knew Katherine too?” I asked.

Flame nodded. “We were known as the Three Musketeers, Kaelyn, Katherine and I.”

Cat looked like she was about to cry. “I... I’m sorry, I have too...,” she didn’t finish before she was out the door.

“Flame, go check on her please?” Venus asked. “I’ll bring these guys to their room.”

Flame nodded, and left.

“Our room?” I asked.

“Yup. We aren’t going to let you guys out of our sight,” she said.
