~ROBIN’S POV~

Everything was how I remembered.

The house was in the middle of the woods, hidden from the rest of the city.

Mom’s flower garden was still in the front yard, right underneath the windows.

The swinging bench was still there on the front porch, where Kaelyn and I used to play.

The siding was that same dark wood color, and the shutters were a dark blue.

In one of the top floor windows, I could see a small doll peeking out through the window.

Kaelyn stood beside me and sighed. “Brings back memories huh?” she asked as the rest of the ninja’s and the Titans joined us.

“Sure does,” I murmured.

I looked at the dark blue door as Flame walked up to it.

Kaelyn grabbed my arm as he kicked it open.

One of the ninja teams ran in first, checking the front room.

After they gave us the signal, everyone started walking in, but Kaelyn and I hung back.

She looked at me and repeated my words from a second ago.

“Now or never.”

~KATHERINE’S POV~

I gaped when all the cars and motorcycles pulled onto the driveway.

They had brought the whole agency!

Just what the heck did they plan on doing?

I heard the door up stairs get kicked open and I jumped in surprise.

The Commander looked at me. “If you make one noise, I’ll shoot you in a second,” he said, holding up a gun.

Where the heck had that come from?

~KAELYN’S POV~

Once over the threshold, Robin and I tensed.

It was one thing for me to back, having only been gone for maybe a year and a half, but Robin...

How long has it been?

Ten, eleven years?

The inside of the house hadn’t changed much either. The light hardwood floors stood out next to the semi dark green walls.

On the wall, there was a family picture, minus Robin.

To left was the family room, with a large TV and a chocolate brown leather couch, accompanied by a chocolate brown leather love seat and recliner.

To the right was the dining room, with a light wood table.

A beautiful chandelier hung directly over it.

Surprisingly, it was on, illuminating the light green walls.

Flame looked around, confused. He finally glanced at me, and stepped out of my way, along with the others in front of us.

I took a deep breath before finally taking the lead. I dragged Robin along.

Where to look first?

On the main floor, or the second floor?

The attic, or the basement?

Heck, there was even a cellar out back.

I bit my lip, thinking.

Finally, I resolved to eenie-meenie-minie-moe.

Ok, cellar first.

“This way,” I said, heading towards the back door.
