~BEASTBOYS POV~

“So why do they call you Flame?” Cyborg asked.

We were walking down the hall, Cat still showing us around.

Flame smiled. “‘Cause I’m a stud,” he smirked.

Cat laughed. “No, it was because Venus and I agreed you were full of hot air.”

“Haha, very funny,” he said, rolling his eyes.

“Why do they call you Cat, and Venus, Venus?” I asked.

“Venus says I’m just like one,” Cat said.

“You are! You can sneak around anywhere,” Flame said.

Cat sighed. “We call Venus, Venus because of her real name. Her real name means pure beauty."

“But Venus is a planet,” I noted.

“She’s also the Roman goddess of love and beauty,” Cat told us. “And Venus is a beautiful person, inside and out.”

“So you guys choose your own code names?” Cyborg asked.

“No,” Flame said, rolling his eyes. “We choose them for you.”

Cat shoved his shoulder. “That was implied smart one,” she said.

Flame was about to say something, when we heard yelling down the hall.

“No, Robin! You promised!” It sounded like Venus.

We turned the corner, and Venus was on Robins back, like she was trying to restrain him.

“I’ve been breaking a lot of promises lately. Haven’t you noticed?” Robin asked, trying to get Venus off.

“Cat, help me!” Venus shouted, and Cat ran over.

“What the..,” I trailed off, not sure what to do.

Robin somehow threw Venus off his back, sending her into a wall. She sat there, dazed. “Whoa,” she managed. She stood up, and shook her head. “Robin, listen,” she said, “if you go after The Commander, it’ll be a suicide mission. Kaelyn’s death would be a waste. You might as well have killed her.”

Robin hesitated. He still looked like he wanted to throw her into another wall, but he nodded. “C’mon guys,” he said, heading back to our room.

“What happened?” Starfire asked.

Robin shook his head. When we were in our room, he sat down on the couch. “The Commander... he’s killed my mom,” he said.

Starfire gasped. “But why?” she asked. “Why would he destroy his family?”

I couldn’t believe this. This guy was insane! His own daughter, and then Kaelyn and Robins mom...

“And your just gonna let him get away with it?” I asked.

He looked at me like I was insane. “Of course not. Tonight we’re sneaking out. We’ll have to find a way out first...,” he trailed off.

I glanced at Cyborg. “You know... on our tour, we did find their garage and the T car,” I said.

He looked up at me, and we all smiled.

Finally. Revenge.
