The Ninja's of Twin City (Sequel to Robins Little Sister)

The End of the Fight

~3RD PERSON~

The teens, ninjas and Titans combined, stood in the blinding sun, waiting for their enemies to charge through the door.

All was silent, and hardly anyone breathed. They knew that no matter the outcome, there was going to be deaths.

All around, silent good-byes went unspoken. Then the door crashed open, and it seemed that an even quieter silence settled upon both sides.

No one blinked. No one moved. No one breathed.

It was as sudden as a gun shot, or even a shooting star. But all at once, both sides charged, and the teens, for the moment, had the upper hand. They had more numbers, more super powered friends.

But the two men had more experience. The Director had trained the ninjas himself, and therefore knew all of the counter attacks. The Commander had had over 40 years to practice with his powers, and had raised the leaders of both teams- even if it was unwillingly.

All of the teens went rushing forward, but expecting this, The Commander thickened the air around the two older people, stopping them in their tracks, even knocking a few down.

Venus immediately attacked back, loosening the air, and threw fire at her two former father figures. The Director dodged, and rolled, taking on ten of the ninjas, while The Commander took on all of the Titans, including the East. Venus and the rest of the ninjas were going back and forth between the two, occasionally setting up traps, or smoke bombs, or other things that would help.

Robin managed to get a good kick to The Commanders chest, making him stumble, right into a wall of fire made by Venus. He howled in pain before spinning, going right back into the fight.

Venus cursed, which was a rare thing for her, but decided to go help with The Director, since he seemed to be the bigger threat at the moment.

She summoned a boulder the size of an average desk, and threw it at The Directors backside. Like she expected, he dodged at the last minute.

She narrowed her eyes, and then brightened at an idea. Slowly, she knelt down, picking up the smallest pebble she could find. She tossed it in the air, and watched it fall back down, before catching it. She then mentally lifted the pebble to eye level, and simply stared at it for a second, calculating the force and speed before sending it flying right at her target- the back of The Directors head. Like she had hoped, the man didn’t sense the pebble flying at him. Next thing she knew, he dropped to the ground, a hole in the back of his head- the exact size and shape of the small pebble.

At first, she and everyone else, just stopped and stared at the now lifeless body.

Which is why, no one seemed to notice that The Commander had snuck up behind Venus. He grabbed her by the throat, and held her in the air, a foot above the ground. Everyone froze, terrified.

Venus gasped for air, silently praying for either help, or to loose consciousness.

All around, the boys grit their teeth, wanting to make a move, but afraid to hurt Venus more. All of the girls had tears running down their cheeks.

The Titans felt nothing but furry. Unable to hold back, surprisingly, Starfire was the one to step up first.

“No,” she said. “You will not take my friend again!”

The Commander laughed. “I’m afraid, that you’re too late.”

Everyone’s eyes turned to Venus’s face, which was now blue. Her eyes were closed, and carelessly, he dropped his now seemingly dead daughter to the ground.

Everyone was frozen except the five Titans. They charged, leaving the Titans East, and the Ninjas speechless, as seconds later, The Commander dropped to ground beside his boss, The Director.

Then everyone turned to their leader, friend, sister, and even girlfriend. Everyone, even the boys sobbed, seeing her lying there.

Beastboy kneeled down next to her, raising her head up.

“No,” he whispered.
