~ROBINS POV~

I couldn’t sleep.

I was to excited. Or nervous... I could be nervous too. Just the thought of Kaelyn alive kept me wide awake.

But what about The Commander? What if he found us? If he did, Kaelyn would be gone for sure... and I can’t loose her again. I won’t.

I don’t know how she expects me to fall asleep. I guarantee no one else can. Except Cyborg. He’s probably been asleep for a while now.

I just hope that Speedy stays awake like he’s suppose to.

~BEASTBOYS POV~

I can’t sleep.

I don’t know how any of us are.

Except maybe Cyborg...

I can’t take it anymore... I have to be doing something.

I got up and started pacing. I needed something to do. Anything. Anything but sit here doing nothing. I need a X Box 360 or something...

Maybe I could sneak downstairs... at least it’s something. I could get a midnight snack... at least that’ll be my excuse if I got caught.

I went down the stairs as quietly as possible, but the stairs would still creak every other second, and each time one would, I would cringe. Thankfully, I wasn’t caught...

Until I came to the bottom of the stairs and Kaelyn stood there, staring at me accusingly. She didn’t say anything, just put her finger to her lips and pointed at Speedy who was snoring on the couch.

I rolled my eyes. Sure, I half expected him to fall asleep, but still.

“What are you doing up?” she whispered.

“I couldn’t sleep,” I whispered back.

She rolled her eyes. “Of course you couldn’t,” she muttered. “But I was serious. All of you guys need your rest,” she said.

“So do you. Raven says your not fully recovered,” I said, “and you know it too.”

She stifled a yawn. “I’ve been sleeping nonstop today. I deserve some time awake.”

I chuckled. “Only you would say that,” I joked.

She smiled. “Probably,” she giggled. “So what’s the real reason you came down here?” she asked.

“I told you, I couldn’t sleep,” I said.

She raised her eyebrows.

“... and because I knew Speedy would fall asleep,” I sighed.

She smiled and shook her head. “I swear, your worse than Robin sometimes,” she said. She glanced over at the TV and her eyes laughed. “They have X Box 360,” she said grinning. “And I saw they have Halo 3. Wanna play?” she asked.

“You just read my mind,” I said laughing.
