I'm Here As A Friend

Medusa Part 1

Lena busied herself with work hoping that her favourite reporter would come around. She missed Kara, it had been four whole days since their last words. Supergirl was supposed to talk to Kara but it didn't seem like she had done so. Perhaps it felt awkward because of how Lena reacted, thinking they were together. I wonder where Kara is, I've tried to call her at least ten times.

Lena sighed before searching through CatCo's online website to see if Kara had posted any news. There was nothing. Strange, Kara would always have at least a small segment but there is no trace of her from the past few days. Lena felt a pain in her chest, causing her jaw to tighten.

"Something is wrong. I need to call her sister." Lena didn't have Alex's number so she typed Alex Danvers into her secure database, hacking through multiple firewalls along the way. I know you're not FBI but what are you? Lena managed to find the oldest sister's phone number and used her work phone to send through a message.

Lena: Alex, I must know if Kara is okay. She hasn't answered any of my calls or texts. You will know who I am.

Not ten minutes later, DEO agents burst through Lena's office door, guns blazing. Lena dropped her phone, her eyes wide. The agents spread out across the room before standing in two lines. Lena watched in fear as Alex strode through the room, her new ray gun she stole off a Maldorian pointed straight towards Lena.

"Ms. Luthor. You're coming with us." Alex threw her alien-proof cuffs to one of the agents who then proceeded to grip Lena's arms, pulling her out of her chair. Lena attempted to shove the man away only to be shot with a tranquiliser dart. The CEO fell to the floor unconscious whilst Alex flicked the switch back to blast on her ray gun. "Man I love this gun. Let's get her out of here." Alex raised her hand to her ear. "J'onn, we have detained Ms. Luthor. Begin phase two."

Three nights ago:

"J'o- Sir I found something you will be interested in." Winn spoke, pulling out his DEO iPad. "You see these strange patterns that I found to be weak, synthetic Kryptonite, circulating the city?" J'onn nodded, placing with his hands on his hips. "Well after the agents disposed of the Kryptonite, I created a second scan in case more Kryptonite was being made and I found this." Winn pointed to a large mansion in the commercial district. "This house is lined with Kryptonite. I checked with the sales representative in that area and guess who lives in that place?"

"Who Mr. Schott?"

"Lillian Luthor." J'onn sighed before getting Winn to set a tracker on Lillian. "See if you can find out what she is planning and whether it involves a certain Luthor that Kara has her heart set on. If there is something, you tell Alex and I only. No one else is to be involved, not even Kara. We all know she is the worst liar. And don't worry, we will find Kara." J'onn informed Winn and used his serious voice to do so.

Winn nodded feeling a slight pang in his heart. He didn't crush on Kara anymore but he still cared for the Super. "Yes Hank, I mean J'onn, I mean sir."

J'onn transformed into the famous CEO Lena Luthor, at first feeling slightly uncomfortable in such a tight-fitting dress. Alex chuckled to herself, hiding her face from her boss. J'onn rolled his eyes and sat down in the CEO's chair, getting used to the feel of this new body. "Alex, I can hear your laughter from your mind you know."

Alex gulped and stopped her laughing, relaxing her muscles and going back to her professional work ethic. "Yes sir, I- I mean Ms. Luthor." Alex smirked and raised her eyebrow. "We have to find Kara. You know what to do ma'am. Good luck."
