While Niklaus Mikaelson was busy looking for the Cure, Imogen Avery quietly sneaked out of the Mikaelson mansion after receiving a strange letter from a female werewolf named Hayley Marshall telling her that she wasn't alone and to meet her in the woods.

"Imogen Farien Avery?"

The Immortal flinched and turned to find a gorgeous female with light olive skin, hazel green eyes and with shoulder length dark brown hair flowing behind her, smiling at her.

"Hayley Marshall?" she asked.

Hayley smiled at her and nodded. "Yes, I'm Hayley."

"I received your letter. You said you know something about me and my family." Imogen said, slowly.

Hayley nodded and slowly walked over to her. "I just want you to know that you're not alone that you still have someone, a family." she said.

Imogen furrowed her eyebrows in confusion. "I do have a family."

"The Mikaelsons, yes, I know but what I'm talking about is your real family, a family that shares the same blood as you." Hayley said.

"You know something about me that I don't, do you?" Imogen asked as she stepped closer to the female werewolf.

Hayley smiled slightly and nodded. "I do."

"What?"

"You're the person I've been looking for my whole life." Hayley said happily..

"What? What do you mean?"

"You have a crescent moon birthmark on your right shoulder." Hayley stated.

Imogen's eyes widen at her. "How did, how did you know that? No one other than Nik knows about my birthmark." she said, shock.

Hayley smiled happily at her as she took off her dark green jacket and turned around. "Because I have the same birthmark as yours."

Imogen gasped seeing the same crescent moon birthmark she has on her right shoulder on Hayley's. "That birthmark! It's the same as mine." she exclaimed.

Hayley turned to face her and nodded happily. "Yes and it only means one thing, Imogen." she said softly.

"We're family." Imogen and Hayley said at the same time and smiled happily at each other.
