The crowd moves as does Victor. He cannot lose them in the streets. Charleston is to big to find your way back once lost. Even if you have lived there all your life. He has no idea where he is going. In his mind he was making a map of where he has been.
The group was showing signs of wiryness. Mclaine had put his hood down revealing his mangy dirty blonde hair. Guessed he got tired of hiding in his sweater.
All day he has been fighting with other leaders. Some had given up and joined him. Put less strain on his body.
Walking the streets made both their legs cramp and buckle up. The army had began to settle down in a department store. Victor waited for a few minutes to make sure they weren't stopping to attack some children.
Victor looked at a food store not to far away. Part of it had burned down. The windows shattered and smelted to the asphalt. A perfect place to mask his pugnant scent.
The inside has charded furniture and black stained tile flooring. Behind the counter is clear and the roof is still up above it.
He lats his sleeping bag down and the bag at the foot of it.
The fire most likely happened in the kitchen but he still had to check it.
Nothing. It is burned to pieces. A burned out oven sits pure black. That must have caused the fire. At least the fire didn't spread.
The whole building is clear. The sun is going down and the streets are already dark. Tomorrow is a new day. What will Mclaine do then?
