Panem High: Part 2

Chapter 2

Katniss pov

*peep, peep, peep*

Ughhh, its Monday. I drag myself out of bed and into the shower. I quickly wash and get out. I blow dry my hair and curl it. I put on my makeup and then head to my room. I put on skinny jeans with a dark green chiffon long sleeve shirt. I put on a necklace Peeta gave me and my brown combat boots. I also put on earring and perfume. Its already 7:45 when I'm done getting ready. I check my phone and Peeta left me a message he'll be her at 8:15 so we can get breakfast. I text him back and fnish putting on last touchwes on my makeup. I make sure I have everything in my bag and head to Prim's room. She's wearing a new white shirt with dark skinny jeans and white sandles with little sparkles on them. Her hair is pin straight and she has a braclet on.

"You look beautiful ducky" I say sitting on her bed

"Thanks, I love your outfit too" She says putting on simple silver studs.

"Excited for highschool?" I say

"Ehh, kinda nervous" She says

"You'll be fine. How many classes do you have with John?" I say

"Uh, we have 1st, 3rd, and 7th. Rude and I have 2 and Megan and I have 4."

"Thats good!!" I say.

"Ya, did you remember to pack a gym bag for cheer? We both have practice everyday until 5." She says

"Totally forgot! Thank ya!" I say heading to my room. I grab a cheer bag and pack Nike Pros, a cheer champion cheer shirt I got at a competition and my Nfinity cheer shoes. I also pack a hair-tie and a sports bra. I shove them in the bag and head downstairs when I hear Peeta's honk. I grab my phone of the counter and call Prim to come down. Peeta's taking her to school, also.

"Hello gorgeous" Peeta says leaning in for a kiss.

"Goodmorning," I say kissing him back. I put my cheer bag and purse down.

"Where to for breakfast girls?" He says driving down the street.

"Can we go to Starbucks?" Prim says on her phone.

"Of course!" He says. We arrive in a couple minutes and I go in with Peeta's and Prim's order.

Its a short line but once I'm up at the counter I order 2 large hot coffes with french vanillla, cream and sugar for Peeta and I, and a medium ice coffe with carmel for Prim. I also get 2 plain bagels with butter for Prim and Peeta and Peeta already brought me a danish.

Our order comes out in a few minutes and I bring it out. We much on our breakfast on the way to school. We drop off Prim in the frount where John is waiting for her. We wish them goodluck on their first day. Peeta and I go by the frount office and park. Peeta insists on bringing my cheer bag. So all I have in hand is my purse and my coffee. We already dropped off all of our textbooks and supplies last week in our lockers. Fortunetly, Peeta got ours almost right by each other. We meet the rest of the group by Madge's hummer. We talk for a while until the bell rings. Peeta and I only have 2nd, 4th and 6th, so we walk to our lockers to get our stuff then walks me to first.

"Have fun in your first class baby" He say

"Okay, you too." I say looking up at him

"Meet you by your locker okay?" He tells me

"Okay, love you"

"Love you tooo" he says giving me a kiss

"Come on love bridsss" Finnick says grabbing my shirt pulling me into class.

Peeta and I both laugh and I walk into class with Fin. I sit next to him and Madge and Marvel also have this class. They sit right behind us. We have AP statistics first and its mostly just a overview of our plan for the year. Finnick and I play ticktacktoe, since we sit at the same table. The teacher get easily distracted and seems really funny fortunetly. The bell rings and Finnick and I walk together to my locker, I find out his is right across the same hall. I meet Peeta just as planned and we talk about our class, Finnick, Peeta and I walk to AP Physics together in the next building. We get there just in time for the bell and I sit inbetween Peeta and Finnick. Its just the 3 of us in the class.
