'Okay, Mrs Valderrama... Looking at this I can see an empty gestational sac but I can also see a gestational sac containing what appears to be a healthy baby.' The doctor says gesturing to the screen.
'W-What does that even mean?' Demi asks reaching her hand up to wipe her cheeks.
'I'd say you were expecting twins and have sadly lost one of them.' The doctor replies.
'So I'm still pregnant?' Demi asks.
'You are; I'd says you're just under nine weeks.' The doctor replies and Demi glances up at her mom.
'If I was to have an abortion what would that involve?' Demi asks.
'It would be two pills which you would take 3 days apart; we would require you to attend a counselling session before we would allow the abortion though.' The doctor replies.
'Is that something you would want me to arrange?' He asks and she glances back at the screen.
'I-No, I don't think so.' She replies, a small smile on her face.
'I can get you some pictures printed out if you'd like?' The doctor suggests and Demi nods her head.
'That would be great, thanks.' She replies. Nodding his head he turns the screen off and leaves the room as Demi turns to face Dianna and Eddie.
'You made your decision then?' Eddie asks and Demi nods her head.
'It'll be hard but I'll be okay; I've got plenty of people around me.' She replies using the tissue to wipe the excess gel off her stomach.
'Are you going to tell Wilmer?' Dianna asks and Demi nods her head.
'And what if he wants to get back together?' Eddie asks.
'I shall tell him to go fuck himself... I'm not going to stay married to him just for the baby. I love him but he obviously doesn't feel the same so I'm not going to put myself through that.' Demi replies.

Sitting in bed with the covers draped over her leg Demi can't help but smile as she begins to compose a new text.

She glances up as the bedroom door opens and Madison makes her way inside.
'You okay?' Madison asks and Demi nods her head. Pulling the covers up a little she smiles as Madison slides into bed beside her.
