'Mr and Mrs Valderrama?' An older blonde woman says and Wilmer instantly stands up.

'That's us.' He replies smiling. He glances back at Demi who takes a deep breath before standing up.

'Just follow me.' The woman says.

'You okay?' Wilmer asks quietly as Demi links her fingers through his.

'Mmm... Nervous.' She replies following the woman down a long corridor.

'We'll be fine... Just be honest.' He says and she nods her head. They make their way into a small room and the woman gestures for them to sit down on the two chairs opposite her desk.

'I'm Anna and I just want to let you both know that whatever is said in this room will stay completely confidential, okay?' The blonde says and both Demi and Wilmer nod their heads.

'Do you mind if I call you Demetria and Wilmer?' Anna asks.

'Could you call me Demi?' Demi asks and Anna nods her head.

'Of course. So why don't you start by telling me a little bit about your relationship, Demi?' Anna asks.

'Wilmer and I met a little over ten years ago; I was going through a really tough time and he was great. He's been my absolute rock and he never takes enough credit for saving my life.' Demi replies smiling slightly.

'Are you grateful for Wilmer?' Anna asks.

'Of course I am.' Demi replies.

'Do you feel obliged to be with Wilmer because in your eyes he saved your life?' Anna asks and Demi shakes her head.

'Of course not. I love Wilmer; I haven't loved anyone as much as I love Wilmer and I don't think I ever will.' Demi replies.

'Okay. Do you feel obliged to be with Demi because you're scared of what might happen?' Anna asks directing her question to Wilmer.

'No. I know that Demi is stronger than she's ever been and I know she'd be just fine on her own. I love her. I've always loved her and that will never change.' Wilmer replies and Anna nods her head.

'So tell me a little bit about your lifestyle? Let's start with you Demi? How's things with work?' Anna says.

'I'm mostly in the studio at the moment and I have been for the past few years. I've been doing the odd show every now and then but I've not done a full tour in a while.' Demi replies.

'And you, Wilmer?' Anna says.

'I work away a lot. The show I'm filming is based in New York so I've been spending a lot of time there.' Wilmer replies.

'How do you feel about that?' Anna asks glancing at Demi.

'I understand that it's his job and I know he loves what he does. He's always supported me when I've been off touring for months at a time.' Demi replies.

'So you understand but how do you feel about him being away a lot?' Anna asks and Demi sighs.

'I mean I can't say I like it. There have been times when I would've done anything to just have him at home with me.' Demi admits.

'Would you like to tell me about one of those times?' Anna asks and Demi glances at Wilmer who nods his head.

'I had a miscarriage.' Demi replies quietly.

'I'm so sorry to hear that. Could you tell me more about that?' Anna asks.

'I was eleven weeks and six days; we found out just after our honeymoon and we were both so excited. We were just a day away from our twelve week scan and Wilmer was flying in on the morning of the scan.' Demi replies.

'So Wilmer was in New York when you miscarried? Tell me how that made you feel?' Anna asks and Demi nods her head. Glancing down at her hands Demi sighs as tears fill her eyes.

'It was awful. None of our family or friends knew I was pregnant so I was literally on my own. I drove myself to the hospital and I went through everything on my own. He was home the next day so it was only really one day but it was the worst day of my life. I was alone and I was scared.' Demi says.

'How does hearing Demi speak about that time make you feel?' Anna asks passing Demi some tissues.

'Guilty... I should've been there for her. No one should go through that one there own and there never be anything I can do to make up for not being there.' Wilmer replies and Demi shakes her head.

'Be here now.' She says quietly.

'Well I think you've both made a very good start today. For next time I see you I'd like you both to come up with three things you'd like the other person to work on that will benefit your relationship. Is next week okay for you?' Anna asks and both Demi and Wilmer nod their heads.

'That's fine, thank you.' Demi replies wiping at her eyes with the tissue.
