'You okay?' Wilmer asks as he makes his way into the living room where Demi is curled up at one side of the sofa.

'I've been sick all morning.' Demi replies quietly as Kelsey makes her way into the room behind Wilmer.

'Oh... Do you need anything? I can pop out to the shop if you want?' He asks and she shakes her head.

'I'm okay.' She replies. Glancing at Kelsey she smiles slightly before gesturing for Wilmer to sit down.

'Are you okay with Kelsey staying?' She asks and he nods his head.

'If it makes you more comfortable, of course I am.' He replies sitting down. Kelsey sits down opposite them and Demi takes a deep breath.

'I just- You were right the other day, we need to talk regardless of how hurt I am.' Demi says glancing at Wilmer who sighs.

'I know you don't believe me but I don't want to hurt you, Demi. You do mean the world to me and I'm so sorry.' He replies.

'Can you tell me why? I just- I know we have our issues and I am well aware that after the miscarriage I did push you away but I just don't understand why you feel like divorce is our only option.' She says.

'I don't deserve you. I wasn't even in the country when you lost our baby.' He replies quietly and she shakes her head.

'You saved my life, Wilmer. I wouldn't be alive with you and I don't think you realise just how much that means to me. It wasn't your fault I miscarried whilst you weren't here; I know here was a time that I resented you for that but it wasn't your fault... I have always loved you and I think I always will.' She says.

'Do you want to go ahead with the divorce?' He asks and she shakes her head.

'I never did, Wilmer.' She replies.

'I think we should continue living apart for now. Maybe we need to focus on our own issues and feelings regarding the miscarriage while we attempt to grow back together.' He says and she nods her head.

'I'm sorry I've hurt you.' He adds and she sighs.

'C-Can I have a hug?' She asks quietly. Instantly he puts his arms out and she moves towards him. Her body instantly relaxes into him as he kisses the top of her head.

'We'll be okay.' He almost whispers and she bites her bottom lip to prevent the tears from falling.

'I've missed you.' She says.

'I bought a baby mat yesterday.' Demi says smiling at Wilmer; Kelsey left a little over an hour ago leaving the pair alone.

'Really? I know this isn't exactly the best situation but I am excited to meet the little one.' He replies and she nods her head.

'I know. I'm not going to lie to you, Wilmer. I considered abortion because I didn't think I could deal with the whole divorce and a baby.' She admits.

'I'm sorry I ever put you through this, Demi. I promised to always protect you yet here I am hurting you like this.' He says and she shakes her head.

'It's been a hard couple of years. I guess what hurt me most was that you didn't speak to me about it before speaking to your lawyer. You didn't even discuss how we could try to make things better between us.' She replies.

'I'm sorry.' He says quietly and she shakes her head.

'I think we just need to focus on trying to rebuild our relationship.' She replies resting her hand on her stomach.

'So I've been thinking and I'd really like to have a home birth if it's possible.' Demi says.

'Yeah? What's made you want that?' He asks and she shrugs her shoulders.

'I'd just be more comfortable in my own home, you know?' She replies and he nods his head.

'Yeah, I get that. I know this might not be easy but I think we'll make it through this, Dems.' He says and she nods her head.

'I think so too... My dad's pretty mad at you.' She replies causing him to laugh.

'I wouldn't expect anything less from Eddie.' He says.
