'I've never been here before, have you?' Demi asks as Kelsey pulls up in front of an Italian restaurant.

'I was here a few weeks ago; it's lovely. Staff are very friendly.' Kelsey replies smiling. She gets out the car and watches as Wilmer and Demi do the same.

'It seems pretty busy.' Demi says glancing at the packed car park as Wilmer links his fingers through hers. Demi's wearing

'It does.' He replies. They make their way towards the restaurant and Kelsey opens the door gesturing for the couple to go in ahead of her.

'Why is it so-' Demi begins before the lights flicker on and everyone she loves pops out.

'SURPRISE!' They all shout and tears fill Demi's eyes.

'Oh my- Did you know about this?' Demi asks glancing at Wilmer who looks just as shocked as she does.

'Didn't have a clue.' Wilmer replies shaking his head.

'K-Kels...' Demi says instantly hugging her friend.

'This wasn't down to me, Dems. I was just the one in charge of getting you here.' Kelsey says.

'Who?' Demi asks and Kelsey gestures behind the brunette. Turning around Demi smiles as she comes face to face with her best friend.

'Riss!' Demi squeals instantly throwing her arms around the blonde.

'I thought you deserved something special. Something to celebrate the both of you.' Marissa says glancing between Demi and Wilmer.

'Thank you.' Demi replies softly. Marissa moves on to hug Wilmer while Demi makes her way around the room. So many people have turned up; her family have travelled from Dallas and so many friends are here. She feels so loved.

_______

'Thank you for doing this for her.' Wilmer says smiling slightly as Marissa sits down beside him.

'This wasn't just for her... I know I've been a bit of a bitch to you but I was just worried about her. I seen what she was like when she came back to Dallas and it was horrible.' Marissa replies and Wilmer nods his head.

'I know. I messed up but I honestly thought what I was doing would save her from even more hurt.' He says glancing at where Demi is dancing with Madison and Dallas.

'I know. I'm sorry I've given you such a hard time; I know you love her and I know you'd do anything for her.' She replies.

'You don't have to apologise. You had every right to be angry at me... I let Demi down and that was the one thing I promised I wouldn't do.' He says.

'But you've made things right. Look how happy she is now?' She replies gesturing to Demi as the brunette throws her head back and laughs at something Madison said.

'You really picked the right time to do this... We've not told anyone and you can't tell her that I've told you but she might not get the home birth she wants.' Wilmer says.

'What? Why?' Marissa asks and Wilmer sighs.

'Her blood pressure is slightly high so they don't know if they'd feel comfortable with her giving birth at home.' Wilmer replies as the music changes and Demi walks towards them.

'Come dance with me?' Demi asks putting her hand out to Wilmer as Perfect by Ed Sheeran begins to play. He glances at Marissa who smiles and nods her head.

'We can talk later.' Marissa replies. Smiling Wilmer takes hold of Demi's hand and let's her pull him onto the dance floor.

'You having a good time?' Wilmer asks as Demi wraps her arms around his neck.

'Mmmhmmm... I can't believe they went to all this effort.' Demi replies

'It's amazing, isn't it?' He says kissing the top of her head.

'I think we should tell them the gender.' She says tilting her head so she's looking up at him.

'Yeah?' He asks and she nods her head.

'They've made all this effort to come all the way out here so I think they deserve to know.' She replies.

'Okay.' He says smiling.

_____

'Time for gifts...' Marissa says grinning as she gestures for Demi and Wilmer to sit down on some chairs at the front of the restaurant.

'Can I say something first?' Demi asks and Marissa nods her head.

'So I want to start by saying just how grateful I am to everyone who's come and to you Marissa for putting together this wonderful day which has left us both feeling so, so loved. Wilmer and I originally decided we wanted to wait until the birth to find out the gender of this baby but it turns out I'm not that patient. We found out just over two months ago and we have been keeping it to ourselves but we both feel like now is the right time to let you all know that we're having a baby girl. We're both so excited to welcome our daughter into the world and I know that she is going to be so loved by so many people.' Demi says, tears filling her eyes as her hand rests on her stomach.
