I Love You

"Damn it!" He screamed in frustration.

"What? What happened?" I asked confused. I was trying to understand what had happened.

"I forgot my key this morning and now it's snowing. I made you come for nothing." He began to get upset with himself.

It was cute to be quite honest with you. To see him so frustrated trying to figure things out on his own. It was always a cute sight to me. He's the type who wants to do things on his own in order to feel accomplished. Even if he does a dirty trick along the way.

"Hey, it's okay. I like the snow. We can just sit under the garage and enjoy the snow." I looked at him and smiled.

He forced a smile but you can tell he was still upset and possibly wanted us to leave.

Then, letting out a big sigh he said, "Yeah okay. It's not that bad."

We got to his house and noticed his father's car. We tried knocking, we even tried breaking in, but nothing.
So I sat on the ground in front of the car. He kicked the recycling bin with so much anger. I jumped. He finally sat down beside me and leaned his head on my shoulder. I was only wearing a sweater, so I shivered a bit. He looked at me with so much concern.

"Why do you do that?" He said with so much annoyance.

"Do what?" I said looking at him confused.

"Just wear a sweater. Why do you do that? You can get sick Aracely." He said in a soft angered voice as he took off his coat and wrapped it around me.

The warmth quickly engulfed my body. His cologne quickly filled my lungs. I felt happy.

"Please don't, I'm more concerned about you then I am about myself. I'm used to walking around like this. You're used to being all snuggled up." As much as I loved his coat being around me, I also knew he'd get sick faster than I would.

So I wrapped it back around him. He gave me this annoyed look.

"Damn it Aracely! Just take my coat. Please. It was my fault we are in this situation. You should just go home." He said as his eyes became a bit teary.

"Hey look at me. It's honestly okay. I like spending time with you even if we're stuck outside. It's your presence that matters to me." I said smiling at him as I cupped his face with my hands. His face felt so cold. He seemed more cold than I was.

"Fine, how about we share? We can cuddle and keep each warm as we enjoy the silence and snowfall." I said as I began to create a pillow with our bags.

I laid down and looked at him, signalling him to lay beside me. He gave me a soft sincere smile.

"Okay, but not for too long. The floor is cold too Aracely." He laid beside me as he covered us both with his coat.

We faced each other and looked into each other's eyes. He put his hand on my cheek and rubbed it with his thumb.

"I love you Aracely."

"I love you too Helios."

We kissed. A gust of wind blew the snow towards us. The soft wet feeling of snow touching my cheeks as my lips are on his, I felt as if I was dreaming. Looking into his chocolate brown eyes. Feeling his soft blushed lips. I couldn't believe this was my love.
The one I'd do anything for.

"I love you," He says again cupping my chin, "and I always will."
