Chapter 32

No ones POV

Perrie noticed jade beginning to move around, she knew she'd wake up soon and she was glad. She'd been to sleep for about half an hour and then woken up, but she's not been back to sleep since that moment.
Jade sat up slowly "sleep well pez?" She asked, Perrie shook her head and immediately began thinking about the fight her and Alex had, jade noticed the tears falling from perries eyes.

"Perrie, please don't cry, I hate seeing you like this baba" jade said rubbin perries back gently, "jade I need him, but he won't answer my calls or texts, what do I do?" Perrie cried. "You get dressed into some clothes, then you come sit downstairs for a bit before we go and collect Elsie.

Perrie got dressed and headed downstairs to sit with jade who was already dressed. She walked into the lounge and sat on the armchair. "So how do you feel?" Jade questioned. "I feel like shit, I really need him jade. I'm 22 weeks pregnant, I get headaches constantly and feel sick half the time. I need him here with me. He just doesn't understand. I love him. No one else. Fuck sake I wish he'd listened to me" Perrie said, her voice trailing off with every word that she said.

"Perrie. He knows. He knows you love him babe. I know you're not great at the moment but, you're both stressed. You know you are. But you need to rise above it baba. We need to go and get Elsie from your mam. You can't let her see you and Alex like this, she's a strong child and she's very smart but something like this could tip her over the edge. She's been through a lot already pez, you know that more than anyone." Jade said.

This gave Perrie flashbacks of that day.

"Alex where's Elsie!" Perrie shouted. "I don't know, I thought she was upstairs with you!" He yelled back.

Perrie looked in every room and she could find her anywhere, she began crying and ran to Alex, "Alex she's not here!" She cried.
He wrapped his arms around her, "it's okay, we'll find her-" he was cut off as Perrie broke from his hug running out the front door, "it's not okay! I need her. Where is she! We need to find her!" She cried as she ran to the end of the drive.

Alex had already phoned the police and they were on their way. Perrie collapsed onto the floor, hugging her knees and crying into her hands. Alex hooked his arms under her arm pits and lifted her up slowly, "pez baby, it'll be ok, we'll find her. She won't have gone far." He whispered

Perrie hated remembering that day. It was the worst, she though Elsie had been stolen. She was glad that they'd found her just down the street trying to crawl into a cat flap.

"Come on pez, I'll drive to your mams" jade said, Perrie nodded in reply grabbing her shoes. Jade picked up her parka (A/N #jarka) from the coat hook and got in the car.

Perrie locked up and went to the car, she sat in the passenger seat and jade started the engine. "Pez, it'll be ok" she said, "Elsie will know you're upset babe, she's very observant, but please don't tell her that you don't know where Alex is, just say he's gone out" jade added.
"But what if he doesn't come back jade, she needs the truth" Perrie replied.

"Tell her if you think that's what's best but she's bound to get upset about it" jade answered Perrie, jade know Elsie very well because of the amount of time she spends at perries house.

As they were driving along they were listening to songs on the radio, Perrie and jade recognised this song immediately...

Tears were streaming from perries eyes as she'd listened to the lyrics. "Babe, shall I text him for you?" Jade asked, Perrie nodded slowly unsure of if she'd made the right Decision.

By the time they arrived at perries mams, Perrie had managed to dry her eyes off and she looked particularly well, not like she'd been crying, just a tiny bit tired.

They got out the car and walked to the door, Perrie opened it and walked in, "Perrie baby!" Debbie cooed as she walked into the hall. Perrie looked at her mam, who was giving her a sympathetic look, and broke down into tears. Debbie ran over to Perrie and enveloped her in a hug, "I'm sorry mam" Perrie cried into her shoulder, "shhh, babe, Elsie's upstairs okay, she'll hear you" her mam whispered in her ear.

"I miss him mam" she said through the tears, "I know you do pez, but he'll be back bubba, it's probably just stress and tiredness messing with him" Debbie suggested. Perrie nodded, drying her tears again.

"Well I'm gonna go find Els" Perrie said as she began walking upstairs.

"Lovely to see you jade, thank you for staying with Perrie last night" debbie said giving jade a hug. "Aw I've missed you Debbie! And it's no problem, she's struggling though. She's really struggling and it's not healthy" jade mumbled to Debbie.

She nodded as she was listening to jade, "do you think Elsie will notice?" Debbie asked jade, "yes. She'll notice very soon that pez isn't right Debbie. And I hate to say it but, Elsie will figure out why as well. She's a smart kid and she'll know that something's not right between Alex and perrie" jade replied, "thanks jade" Debbie said again.

Jade gave Debbie a hug and they went to get a drink.

Meanwhile Perrie was playing with Elsie upstairs, "hey gorgeous" she said as she walked into the room where Elsie was playing, "Mumma!" Elsie shouted, running into her arms. "Mumma, where's dadda. He said he'd come and pick me up too" Elsie questioned.
Perrie swallowed trying to cover up her emotions, "erm, daddy's just had to go out today Elsie, so you might not see him today baba" Perrie relied, "but I'm sure you'll see him tomorrow on your birthday!" She added.

Elsie beamed at perrie, "Mumma, let's go downstairs" she said grabbing perries hand. They walked downstairs and joined jade and Debbie in the lounge, "jadey!!" Elsie giggled, running up to jade and jumping on her knee, "hey Bubby" jade said, that was her nickname for Elsie. Elsie sat contently on jades knee, fiddling with the jewellery on jades hand and wrist as Jade spoke with Perrie and Debbie.

"Mumma has a nice ring from dadda on her hand!" Elsie piped up, jade could see the broken look on perries face, although she tried to cover it with a smile for elsie.

"Dadda gave Mumma the ring because he loves her"

"And dadda gave Mumma the triplets in her tummy because he loves her a very lot!" Elsie kept muttering about Perrie and Alex as Debbie and jade gave Perrie a concerned look.

They could tell she was breaking inside.
