Waking up, I rubbed the sleep from my eyes and grabbed my phone from the bed side table. Then I remembered, and excitement flooded through me. Today was the first day of the live shows!
Swiping my phone open, I saw I had several notifications.
From: Alesha Morning, ready for live shows? Xx
From: Amanda Morning darling, excited for this eve!xx
I smiled at both messages and replied to them, frowning that I had nothing from Simon. I wanted to message him, but also didn't want to bother him.
I quickly showered, washing my hair and styling it. Then I pulled on black jeans and a grey tshirt, with a grey hoodie over the top. Although it was June, the weather was still slightly cold. I grabbed my phone, keys and wallet before heading towards my car and driving to the studio.
Alesha pulled her car up next to mine in the car park a minute after I arrived. I was still sat in the car, staring at my phone. She tapped on the window, grinning. Opening the door, I stepped into the cool spring air.
"I haven't seen you in ages!" She exclaimed, enveloping me into a warm hug. "How are you?" I asked as we walked into the studio. The white couches, green pillows, chairs and mirrors were a warm welcoming to me, after so long of not being here. Amanda spotted us, jumping up and squealing, hugging us both. "I'm great th-" I began to tell her, before my stylist grabbed my arm and dragged me away.
"Mr Walliams, you're due to have hair and make up done now." The woman said bluntly. Her hair was done up in a tight, blonde bun and her make up was cleverly applied, yet she looked fake. She glared at the girls.
"I was talking to Alesha and Amanda. Can you let go?" I retorted, trying to shake her off me.
The two judges were deep in conversation to even notice the confrontation between the back stage manager and I.
"Mr Walliams, I would listen if I were you. You have to listen to management-" She continued, tightening her grip and pulling me towards the chair.
"Get the f.uck off me!" I exclaimed, pushing her away, causing everyone to look up.
"David? What's going on?" A voice echoed from the entrance.
He wore jeans and a tight, black, short sleeved top. His hair was pushed to the side and his glasses were perched on the bridge of his nose. His stance was firm, a glare flickering onto his mouth.
My heart fluttered. Simon.
"I-" I stuttered to speak. I bit my lip.
"Girls?" Simon prompted my silence.
Alesha and Amanda were now sat on the couch, and they both shrugged.
"David?" He repeated.
"She wouldn't let go of me. She wouldn't let me speak to them. She's a psychopath..." I said, frowning, gesturing to the blonde.
