"Alright, class! Let's go!" Mr. Samson shouted at the door of the lobby. Everyone had just finished eating either pancakes or Eggs Benedict for breakfast in the Hub, as those were the two options. Both options came with a side of hash browns. Of course, all of Adam's friends and Adam himself chose the Eggs Benedict, as they weren't really pancake people.

The class, helmets over their heads, followed Mr. Samson out of the hotel and walked to a giant building next door.

"Damn, that Eggs Benedict was so good!" Mark stated, placing his hand on his stomach.

"I know, right? It was so good that I devoured it, and now I feel too full!" Ryan groaned.

"Ugh, me too." Landon replied.

They entered a dark room. Once the door had closed behind them, they took off their helmets. "Alright, stand in the middle of the room please." Mr. Samson stated.

The class followed his instructions and stood in the center. He walked over to a lever on the wall, and Adam looked at him, confused.

"I think this will be your favorite part of the trip, Adam." Mr. Samson smiled, noticing Adam's confusion.

Adam nodded, smiling, and Mr. Samson flipped the switch.

Suddenly, Adam's feet left the ground, and he was floating. "Woah!" he gasped nervously, a bit confused and scared at first, unsure of what was happening, but then he realized why he was floating.

The room had zero gravity! It was something Adam had always wanted to experience!

"Adam!" Landon gasped. Adam turned around and his friends floating as well.

"Class, welcome to The Zero Room!" Mr. Samson announced.

Adam could feel the excitement building up inside of him. "THIS IS SO COOL!" he squealed as he finally bursted out like an overly thrilled five-year-old.

"Adam! Look at this!" Mark shouted. Adam looked back just in time to see Ryan do a backflip.

"Wow!" Adam gasped.

Adam looked around the room and saw small white lights covering the cylinder-shaped walls that resembled stars.

I wish I could stay like this forever, Adam thought. There is nothing like the feeling of floating freely.

A/N: Hey guys! Thank you so much for over 500 views! That's halfway to 1,000! That's insane, especially since I'm barely even halfway done with this story! And there is over 130 reads on the FIRST CHAPTER ALONE! That's incredible!!! Also, I dedicate this chapter to my totally awesome mom! I asked her, "If you could go on a field trip to space, what would you do?" And she replied, "I would want to experience zero gravity." That is when I came up the concept of The Zero Room! Anyways, thank you all for your continued support, as always, and I will see you all in the next chapter of "Field Trip!"😁
