Victor and I are walking, side by side and hand in hand back to his place. Kasai is walking a little ways from us to give us our privacy.
Man I love my Imouto (little sister), she always know when to give us space, and when she needs to listen to me... well at least most of the time for the second part.
I frown a little bit thinking about the guy she was with today...Minami... He's interested in joining the group, and I can't have anybody putting ideas into Kasai's head. Victor can tell that I'm a little upset. He leans and and gives me a peck on my cheek, which startles me. I look up at him, and he smiles a cheeky smile.
"You know, today really reminded me of our first date." he says wiggling his eyebrows.
I snort, "You mean when we ran around a barren field planning out where each attraction for the amusement park would go? Then I tied you to your ceiling because I was mad at you?"
He nudges my shoulder, "That's the one."
I chuckle.
"I was such a romantic!" he sighs, which in response I snort again. "Hey I was, and you know it."
"Was?" I say mockingly, "are you saying that you've lost your touch Nikiforov?"
"If you love saying my last name so much, hurry up, and become a Nikiforov"
I scrunch up my nose jokingly. "No thanks, because that would take out of the fun of calling you Nikiforov"
He leans in, and places a peck on the tip of my nose. Then he reaches into his jacket, and pulls out the wire cloth flower with the happy face in the center which he must have won from the midway. "Told you I'm still romantic."
I laugh, throwing my head back, blushing slightly, "Only you Victor, only you."
I notice Kasai, and my mind goes back to that boy, Mianmi.
"I swear, if that boy ever does anything to her." I mutter under my breath, my protective brotherly nature kicks in again.
"Hey calm down. Okay, don't pull a Yurio. Kasai will be fine. I mean you practically ripped her out of that guy's arms. You need to stop being an overprotective Niisan, and let the girl live a little."
I don't react.
Victor sighs a little bit, and tugs on my hands, taking both in his own. "Yuri listen. You know that Yakov tried his best to give me everything that I needed after the whole conquer the Mafia world thing was over, but it wasn't enough." he brings his hand to my chin, and tilts it up so that we are staring at each other's eyes. "What was the game changer was you, it was love. And yes Yuri, you can give that girl all of the love she can get from family. In fact you are smothering her, but you need to know when to let her go so that she can explore the world on her own. She needs to find her own love. Perhaps a love that is even greater than ours."
I laugh a little at that. "Nobody will be able to find a love that is greater than ours," I smirk, as I lean in for a kiss.
When we break apart, Victor smiles, "I agree, but if anyone ever breaks it hurts our little Kasai-Chan we break them. Agree?" I nod, and we kiss again.
