“Babe? Baaabe? BABE!” Tom shouted from the bedroom.

“Whaaaattt!?” I shouted back from downstairs.

“Let’s go out.” He replied.

“Go where?” I asked. I heard him run down the stairs and jumped onto the couch next to me.

“I don’t know. Maybe for a walk?” Tom said, placing his head on my leg. I played with his hair, contemplating it.

“Yeah. I could go for a walk.” Tom smiled and we got up to change. We headed out the door towards the park and Tom held out his arm and I took it. We got to the park after maybe 15 minutes of walking and sat on a bench.

“Remember when we first met?” Tom asked, interlacing our fingers and smiling at me.

“Of course I do. I was sitting at a tree drawing, and a frisbee came at my head.” I said smiling back. “You came running and frantically apologized before babbling like a dork.”

"You made me nervous. You were really cute.” Tom said, laughing.

“I was not. My glasses were off so I couldn’t fully see you and my hair was all messed up from the frisbee. ” I said nudging him.

"I almost stepped on them too before you asked where they were.” Tom said.

“Yeah and then when I put them on….”

“Yeah"

"You were really cute, too.”

Tom smiled and I laid my head in the crook of his neck and he wrapped his arm around me.

“You know. I went to this park everyday from then on hoping to see you again.” Tom said.

"Really? I kind of did, too. I drew you a couple of times. If I’m being honest.” I said feeling a little sheepish. Tom could see it and brought my face to his, leaving a small kiss on my lips.

“I need you to show me them then.” he said smiling. I laughed and nodded a yes. A wind blew by making us shiver.

"Let’s go get some chocolate.” Tom suggested. I nodded and we headed down to the nearest diner.

“Two hot chocolates please.” Tom asked when the waitress came over to ask. I looked out the window and could see a few paparazzi looking around.

“Tom.” I whispered. He looked at me confused. I nudged my head to the window and he nodded, flipping his hoodie on. He pulled our waitress aside and asked for the drinks to go. She agreed and left. We haven’t came out that we were dating yet. Tom felt like he should protect me from the mobs and the cameras. I was perfectly fine with it because I trust him and his judgement. Our drinks finally came and we paid before heading out.

"I’ll meet you at home, okay?” Tom said, stopping us at the door.

“Of course.” I said smiling. He smiled and gave me a kiss before leaving.

He walked a few steps from the diner before he was recognized. I left the other way and could hear the paparazzi asking for him to smile.

“Tom! Tom! Give us a smile will ya?” a few of them asked.

“Oh hey there guys. Yeah of course I’ll smile!” Tom answered. I smiled as I continued home, their voices becoming faint.
