Roman and Anxiety are woken the next day to a disappointed Patton shaking them, a frown on his lips. Roman, after realizing what he had done, looked ashamed, while Anxiety looked nothing more than bored and tired. Roman apologized after Patton had finished chiding them, and when he looked at Anxiety for his apology, the other simply shrugged. Roman glared at the other trait, ready to go off on him himself, but didn't get the chance as Patton was already telling them to get up to go eat breakfast.

After an incredibly awkward and silent breakfast, Anxiety was heading back to his room with plans to get more sleep. Roman, however, hadn't let go what he had done that morning, and followed quickly after him, grabbing his arms to pull him to a stop. Anxiety whirled around, looking frightened for a moment, and then sighing when he saw who it was. "Oh, you." He grumbled.
Roman scowled. "Don't think I forgot about this morning, we both fell asleep last night. You didn't even really apologize. When Morality was telling us off you even had the audacity to look bored!" He went off on the other, who glared back at him as he spoke.
"I was tired, that's why I looked bored. And I did apologize; anyways, Morality hasn't even brought it up again, why are you so hung up on it?" Anxiety questioned, raising an eyebrow at the other trait.
"Because it was rude of you! You just-you can't-agh! You are so frustrating." Roman threw his hands in the air in frustration, and Anxiety scoffed once again.
"I'm frustrating? I was ready to go back to sleep and forget about this, you're the one who started this argument!" Anxiety continued on about Roman, and how he started most of their quarrels, but Roman had gotten distracted by a movement behind Anxiety. He heard footsteps, too, very quiet and they could easily have been missed had Roman still been listening to Anxiety, but he knew he had seen something. Roman snapped back to attention as something-or rather, someone-poked him in the chest, Anxiety looking even more annoyed than usual with Roman around.
"Are you listening to me? Why'd you pick a fight with me if you weren't even gonna listen to what I had to say?" Anxiety questioned, huffing when Roman said nothing, still looking past him. "Hey! Are you listeni-"
His words were muffled now, a hand covering his mouth. Roman shushed him, still not removing his hand and stepping farther down the hall behind Anxiety, who turned to watch him. He watched silently for a second, and then his mouth wasn't covered anymore and Roman was walking down the hall, sword drawn. Anxiety stood in shock for only a moment before he called out for him to wait up, following quickly after.
"What are we doing?" He asked, still trying to sound annoyed, but genuinely curious and concerned. Roman put a hand out to stop him from walking ahead of him, and pointed to a figure standing at the end of the hall. Anxiety turned to look, and blinked at them, sucking in a breath.
"Oh."
