"YEeeeee!!!", she smiled as Tanya picked up her call . Sanyukta wanted to share this news as soon as she could.

"What's the matter?", Tanya asked .

"My wedding is called off. Rajveer has told my parents about it.", as Sanyukta completed her phone buzzed with another call waiting.

"Ok Listen!! Vicky is calling me. I'll call you back later ", she hung up Tanya's call and switched to Vickram's .

"Vicky!!!!!", she smiled.

"Hey Princess!!! ", he replied.

"I have a good news.", both of them uttered in unison.

"You first!", Sanyukta ordered to which he obliged .

"I am coming to Bangalore next month"

"Really!!!!", Sanyukta exclaimed in delight.

"Yes... And before you ask me further questions regarding it , tell me about your good news ", he demanded.

"My Wedding is called off...."

"Wow!!!!!", Vickram beamed with joy.

"Mom called me up just now. She was sobbing that the wedding is cancelled . Rajveer had told her something about what I spoke to him. I'm not sure what it exactly was. Dad asked me repeatedly whether I was sure about rescinding the marriage. He was insisting that we cannot look back, once it is called off."

"Am Happy for you.", he said. 'And happier for me.' he thought.

"See you soon , Vicky ", Sanyukta chipped as she tried to end the call.

"Sure!! Vicky will see you soon.", he smirked as he played with words and disconnected the call .

He was sure that Sanyukta would ask him how and why he got the transfer. But she did not. She cared for him, but she did not question his intentions. She watched for his actions, but did not follow them. She respected his feelings but did not interpret them.

'Uff'', Sanyukta let out a sigh of relief. She placed her personal mobile on charge and checked her official number. There were no calls. It implied that she had no orders for the day .

She slided her window glass, rubbed her palms, folded her hands across her chest and sat cross legged on her chair, resting her cheek on the window pane. It has been a couple of weeks, she had hardly concentrated on her 'Elite Catering '. It needed a push. She had to take it to the next level. Few rain drops fell on her face. 'Nice and chill', she thought.

Just then the door bell rang......

She made her way towards the main door to see who it was. And before she could remove the chain and open the door completely, he tilted his head to meet her eyes. Her eyes caught his spellbinding look . His sharp gaze on her was making her blush. She hadn't felt this way before.

"Hi Ms

"Hi Ms. Chef ", Randhir's impeccable charm poured in along with his enchanting smile.

"Hi Randhir....", she smiled back .

"The gentle drizzle, the cool breeze and this pleasant night reminded me of you", he shrugged his shoulders pressing his lips together and raised his brows, gesturing as if he could not help himself coming there.

"Excuse me?", Sanyukta crooked her brows.

"I mean....... I ..I Just came here because I was hungry", he corrected himself.

"Hmmm.....Okay ", she smiled tucking a strand of hair behind her ear.

As they were talking, her neighbour , Mr. Prem Kumar Chowdry who lived on the next floor of her apartment gave them a suspicious look before walking up the stairs. This was the third time he was seeing Randhir in the society . Twice with Sanyukta and once in front of her flat standing for a prolonged time.

"Won't you invite me in?", Randhir asked turning towards Sanyukta.

Sanyukta still looked at Prem Kumar Chowdry (PKC) and nodded with reluctance.

"What do you want for dinner?", she asked still brooding on PKC's scrutiny.

"Whatever you want to serve me, Ms.Chef." , Randhir smiled .

As soon as he approached his flat, PKC picked up his landline receiver and dialled a number.

"Hello", a voice answered the call.

"Hello!! This is Prem Kumar Chowdry, speaking . I've found one of Sanyukta's customer trying to get close to her. I find it strange. I saw him for the third time today. I don't think it is good"

"Okay! Just let me know how he is. I will take care of the rest", the voice replied.

A floor below, Sanyukta packed a serving of Phulka and subzi, which she was supposed to eat for dinner as she tried to send away Randhir , as quickly as she could....
