Sanyukta's POV :
I sat in the murkiness of the night, bursting into hysterical tears with an uncanny feeling of being deceived by life . My mind was preoccupied with a set of thoughts that wouldn't let me calm. Why is Rajveer doing all this? What's his motive behind it . My heart threw so many questions to which I had no answer.
Everything seemed so right till a few days ago . It was nothing less than a beautiful dream. Just a misunderstanding had changed everything that too so terribly. My parents had been planning so many things which weren't obvious to me. What is happening in my life? Vikram is missing, my best friend called me an opportunist and on top of everything, I'm clueless about Randhir. I don't even know who he is or where he is . I don't know whether the accusations raised on him by Vikram and Tanya were true. He was never affirmative when I asked him about his parents. He did not express any interest in meeting my friends . He didn't introduce me to anyone he knew either. His charm and charisma never gave me any room for uncertainty.
I felt as if a lump was formed in my throat and found it difficult to breathe. I sighed deeply as my hands flew up to my face and covered my already closed eyes . But the minute I closed my eyes I started visualising his face in front of me.
"The moment I saw you, I knew you were mine. To be more precise, those eyes made me long for you. I wanted to be your vision. The vision your eyes see today and the vision your eyes want to see tomorrow."
"I didn't want to stand in between you and your dream. I wanted you to win this more than anyone else"
"I just hope, I could join you in your journey. To hold your hand and walk along. Not to guide you, but just to stay in accord with your dreams, as a source of solace to support you"
I recollected his words as I gasped for air, in between my sobs. I was thinking what to do next when something struck me . It was my only chance. I wiped away my tears and was determined to get things right.
I waited for the east to brighten up , unaware of the fact that an unexpected guest would be coming at my doorstep the next morning.
