Few miles away from HER house, a car headed away from Bengaluru.
"So how is it going?", his friend asked.
"All my actions, so far, are suitable enough to make her fall for me", he paused and continued .
"Ahhh.. Sh...
"I just can't imagine my life without Randhir, Vicky. Remember once, I asked you whether you will stand by me for all my decisions? It was for this. I want you to be by my side as my support , when I speak about Randhir to my parents "
Just as Sanyukta completed , they heard her door bell ring. She excused herself and walked towards the door to see who it was . As soon as she unlatched the door and pulled it open, she saw Tanya standing at her doorstep.
"Tanya ..." , Sanyukta chipped in a surprise . "Come in.", she forced a smile.
Tanya looked at Vikram .
"This is Vicky , my friend . You have met twice before. I hope you remember him. ", Sanyukta tried to introduce.
'Remember?', Tanya smiled to herself. His tall frame, spiked hair, and that breath taking look! How could she forget him?
Two years ago, when Tanya met Vikram in Sanyukta's birthday party , his looks made the first impression on her. She was completely bowled over by his charming personality. Since then the more Sanyukta spoke about Vicky to her, the more she fell for him. Though he was miles apart from Sanyukta, his caring nature , impressed Tanya . She wanted his care and love all for herself, for a lifetime.
Vikram sat with his hands resting on his head . His face was red. He wasn't sure if it was due to anger or grief. He fought back his tears and rolled his eyes in exasperation. He was perturbed by the series of revelations. They had come to put a curse on him.
He expected years of his seclusion to end in solace. He desired nothing but Sanyukta's love. He thought that he would deal with anything that would come on his path towards his love. He never expected that , Sanyukta herself would hurdle his path, bearing the love she had for someone else.
"Vicky , this is my friend, Tanya ." , she saw his tormented face as she introduced Tanya to him.
"Vicky!!!!what happened?"
" Sanyukta Please!!! I need some time.", he got up from the couch and walked towards the balcony.
His eyes were moist. He rested his elbow on the balcony wall, hard enough for the coarse concrete to cast its impression.

'What do I do now?' , he wondered.
"Were you in love with Her ? " , he heard a voice behind.
Vikram looked at her, blank. He was not sure why, but in spite of she being a stranger to him, he nodded a 'yes' .
Tanya was disappointed, but not shocked. She looked at him. He looked the same . Charming and breath taking, though his expressions were a little distorted.
"Sometimes, you just do everything and wait for something to happen. But then you realise that it's never going to happen.." , he sighed and banged the balcony grill with his fist.
Just as Tanya started to speak, they heard Sanyukta approaching.
"Vicky ", Sanyukta chipped coming closer to him.
"Please don't be upset! I can't see you crying for me. Don't worry we will set everything alright ", she said wiping away his tears.
'You always assume everything wrong, Sanyukta. Be it Rajveer , your parents and now my tears', Vikram thought.
"Will you be by my side? Will you help me?", Sanyukta asked in a low tone.
Vikram thought for a moment. He couldn't deny her. Though she doesn't love him but he still loved her beyond her imagination. Fighting alone was not new to her. She needed him now. He wanted to be there for her.
"Sure! I can do anything for my princess ", he replied with a faint smile which failed to reach his eyes.
His answer brought a ray of hope to both Sanyukta and Tanya .
"You told me he works in Netway, right ?", Vikram asked to which Sanyukta nodded.
"Let me go and meet him. But before that, I need to get some details about him. My colleague's brother is a HR in the same company, in Mumbai though. I will try to get some official records about that guy."
An hour later..
The three of them sat in silence, awaiting Vikram's mobile to ring.
The mobile quivered in Vikram's hands, breaking the trio's silence.
"Really?" , they heard Vikram speak.
"Oh !! Okay sure!!! ." , he chipped before he ended the call.
"Well, It looks like the Mumbai HR cannot locate any employee with such a name. He is asking me to go and check with the Bangalore branch office.", Vikram said.
Sanyukta looked at him with a blank expression.
"I will go to his office. ", Vikram rose from the chair.
"I will come with you too", Tanya joined him.
"Take my car", Sanyukta handed over her car keys.
They left .
Sanyukta closed the door and strode towards her room where her mobile was getting charged. SHe pulled out the wire agitatedly and started dialling his number but to her dismay she heard a recorded voice which said , "The number you are calling is currently unavailable . Please try again after some time..".
SHe dialled his number again but heard the same recorded voice.
