A LIE TO LOVE ❤️

Part # 30

"Tanya!!!!", Sanyukta muttered gesturing her to come inside.

"Do you realise what you've done?", a frenzied Tanya said as she entered the house. She couldn't stand the fact that Vikram had gone missing . She could not imagine losing him.

" What are you talking about, I don't understand ??? ", Sanyukta frowned.

"Sanyukta, don't you know what is happening around you? ", an agitated Tanya chipped furiously.

"Tanya , I am trying to make it out but am helpless" , Sanyukta said .

"Sanyukta, do you really understand what I mean? Do you know where Vikram is?",

"I don't know Tanya . But I am trying hard to find it out. He ....."

"How? By sitting here under this roof, relaxed and happy?", Tanya taunted.

"This is the limit. Do I really seem happy and relaxed to you?", Sanyukta raised her voice.

"You don't talk about limits. You are so selfish that you don't mind endangering the life of other's for your own selfish reasons ", Tanya shouted back.

" Vikram made his move for me. Where does selfishness come in here ?"

"You have unnecessarily involved Vikram in all this. I don't know where he is. I'm really worried for him ", Tanya muttered in her anguish.

"Tanya , he is my friend. I know him better than you. I'm equally ..... In fact I'm much more worried for him than you ", Sanyukta replied.

"What do you know about him? What do you know about anybody?- When you can't even get your boyfriend's identity correct", Tanya spat back.

Tanya's words had hit Sanyukta harshly . She fought back her tears and fumbled for words to defend herself. There was nothing more hurting that not knowing anything about someone whom she loved more than her life.

"You know what? ", Tanya continued. "You don't know him because you did not love him. You just wanted to chase your dream. Nothing else mattered to you. You came here hurting your parents. When you found Randhir ,you forgot about me. You were attracted to him just because, he helped you. It was all conditional , Sanyukta . It was not love. I guess that's the reason, it did not last long. And now Randhir is gone. He has taken away Vikram too. How many more lives are you going to trouble, in the name of your dream? If you want to chase your dream, then run alone . Do not invite people to run for you or run along with you . If you cannot run alone, drop the dream itself . But just don't drag innocent people into it and spoil their lives "

She took a deep breath to control her raging emotions. She didn't want to cry .

"Tanya!!! do you really mean what you just said ", Sanyukta asked with her eyes brimming with tears while Tanya looked away.

"I don't believe this. Of all the people, I didn't expect you to say something like this. I thought you were my Best Friend......", Sanyukta couldn't complete.

"Oh come on, Sanyukta . I don't have time for any emotional words. I have a whole lot to do. I'm going to go to the police station to lodge a complaint"

"Tanya , I'll speak to my dad and seek his help. I will explain him everything. Please don't be hasty"

"No. I can't wait . I don't trust you anymore."

And before Sanyukta could utter another word, Tanya slammed the door behind and walked out of the house.

Sanyukta had never imagined that she would ever hear such words from Tanya. She was her best friend ,wasn't she? What had made her speak so much? Did she really mean all that she said ? She sat in darkness , covered her face and cried her heart out.

She did not know how long she cried sitting in the dark . The sudden vibration of her mobile jarred her into the reality.

She rushed towards it excepting it to be a call from either Randhir or Vikram. But much to her dismay, it was a text message from an unknown number.

She opened it, breathing heavily.

The clock in her mobile showed 11.17 P.M

The text message slowly loaded.

The two important men in your life are now mine. You don't have any other option , baby. Hope to see you soon.

Sanyukta was petrified. She dropped the phone and sat down on the floor with a thud .
