Part # 38

As soon as Sanyukta walked inside the bathroom , she turned on the shower and stood under it trying to wash away the anger and pain while her tears got mixed with the cold water streaming down her face. She closed her eyes to control a sob when Randhir's words started ringing in her ears.

"Well Sanyukta , there are fights and misunderstandings in every relationship. There might be differences of opinions as well. But the beauty of a relationship lies in how quickly a sorry and a smile can get us back to normal...... The bigger the fight, the sooner should be the apology."

"I too want to get things back to normal, Randhir. But I can't help it. I can't forgive you for what you did to me .You have left me in a situation where I don't know what to believe and what not to ?? In fact I don't even know who you are ??? Why Randhir???? Why did you do this to me ?? Why did you lie to me ?? Why did you raise a false ray of hope in me when you had to break my trust???? Why ??", she sobbed harder.

She came out of the bathroom after a long shower, changed into a salwar suit and walked upto the dressing table. The minute her gaze fell on the mirror, her eyes widened in shock and her mouth fell open.

There was a message written for her on the mirror with a red lip stick....

My lies have caused
A lot of pain.
I promise to
Never do it again.
All I want is
To see you smile.
Forever and ever
Not just for a while ....

Tears welled up in her eyes and blurred her vision as she stood staring at the mirror. Soon her annoyance took over her emotions. The veins on her neck stiffened as she pulled out a few tissues out of the pile lying in front of her and rubbed it clean. She was flaring in anger at his sudden desperation and determination to Win her back .

Just then her mobile beeped with a message.
It read -

I know that I have messed up things, but I will be a loser if I don't make it up to you. I know that you don't want me but I want you like anything in the entire world and I'm willing to wait for your acceptance, even if it takes all my life .

"What does he think of himself? ", Sanyukta muttered to herself. "If he's thinking that I'll forgive him and accept him by doing all these cheesy stuff then he's highly mistaken. He has manipulated me and my life. I won't forgive him so easily", Sanyukta huffed angrily.

She quickly wiped away her tears, combed her hair and walked out of her room only to find Vikram and Tanya standing near her door . She glared at them furiously and made her way downstairs towards the dining room.
