Chapter 34-Kamini's Realization

Suman-

"I think you're right Suman! I hope everything goes back to normal very soon! And Nirmala is coming back, things will automatically turn happy for him! Good night" and he leaves. Yes things will automatically be alright, let Ma come first

"good night papa!" I leave to my room to sleep. The week simply passes by as usual and finally the last day of the week comes that was a Friday.

Shravan-

Finally the day has arrived, my mom is going to permanently shift to my home after 10 long years, I had to make it very special for her. I arranged something for her, she was designated to reach this evening and I told all of them about my surprise for her and they readily agreed to join me.

It was 7pm in the afternoon when I see someone opening the door of our house.

Nirmala-

Finally I am on my destination, my home , the home which I craved for 10 years and finally the time came when I will be living the rest of my life with my son Shravan and a lovely family. As I enter the house, it was pitch dark, I couldn't see anything and then suddenly I see my and Shravan's photo on the wall as if it was projected from some projector and a voice , of a gentleman, husky but still I could recognize who spoke to me

"Ma, kitne saal ho gaye na? na kabhi aap mujhse mile na mein aapse, zindagi bhi kya kya dikha jaati hai, kuch aisa jo maine kabhi nahi chaha tha, kuch aisa jo kabhi aapne nahi chaha tha, mujhe dukh hota hai yeh jaankar ke maine aapke kimti 10 saal aise hi waste kar diye, par abh aisa kuch nahi hoga. I will live each day of those 10 years with you to the fullest, I know this has been really difficult for you to choose of which life you wanted and I appreciate it that you were kind enough to give away someone for me, I love you ma and I have waited for you since so long! Don't think I didn't remember you in those 10 years but I regret that I remembered you out of hatred but not love, but now I will remember and be with you until eternity! Welcome back home Ma! This house waited for you since a very long time and it finally got his wish fulfilled."

Wow! What a lovely speech Shravan, my entry in this house just couldn't be more better! I smile with a tear escaping from my eye, "abhi durr se hi bolta rahega yah saamne bhi aayega?" I see the lights switched on and everyone waiting for me at the living room, Shravan comes and gives me a tight hug and I reciprocate the same.

"Welcome home Nirmala" said Ramnath, I smile back.

"Welcome home Ma! I hope you liked the surprise!" said Shravan leaning down to take my blessings

"stay happy forever Shravan, and yes I loved it! This just couldn't be more better!"

"welcome back ma!" said Suman. Later all of them welcomed me home, it was so warm and composed that I couldn't resist to thank them anymore.

"thanks everyone! For this wonderful welcome, I didn't expect so much gratitude from you'll but as I am home now, we'll make a little more perfect family than it was"

"yes! Badi ma! Your presence in our family will make everything more beautiful and better than it could be!" said Vandy.

After a fun-filled chat with all of them, Shravan showed me the room, not that of his dad but a vacant room, he didn't want to interfere in mine and Ramnath's relationship because at present what mattered him the most was me. He sits beside me after keeping the bags aside in the room

"Ma, I chose this as your room for now, I don't know how things are between you and dad and I don't want to know, if you wish to stay with him someday I will pleased to shift your bags there , if you want I can do that now, all that matters to me the most is your happiness and well-being, I have hurt you and Suman a lot since so many years but now it's time that I give you and Sumo love instead of hate" just then I see Sumo arriving with a glass of water
