Caitlin woke up this Saturday morning feeling... good. Just good.

Life was going well for her for the first time in a long time.

She was in a city loved. Doing something she loved. Studying the thing she loved. She had friends she loved. Being with the man she loved. Her life was perfect right now.

And it was as if something had clicked inside of her this morning as she woke. She wasn't so scared anymore. She wasn't quite sure of what but she knew the feeling. She turned om her side to see Barry sleeping peacefully beside her. And she knew.

She knew what she wasn't scared of anymore. What she wanted. It was as if clarity had finally entered her mind making her feel at peace with herself physically, mentally, spiritually and emotionally. She just felt good. And she knew that it was because of the man sleeping beside her. She knew what she wanted. What she wanted to happen and she had no doubts or worries, she just wanted it and wouldn't let anything stop her from achieving it.

Dreamily, she gazed at him while he slept, listening to the ins and outs of his breaths and his heartbeat relaxing her to complete euphoria. She closed her eyes and just listened to what was in front of her. Felt the white sheets around her and the heat radiating off of her companion's body. Smelt the specific scent of aftershave on the pillow.

She brought herself to nestle her body against his so that he was cradling her like she was the most important thing to her. Which she was. She felt him instinctively wrap his arms around her in his sleep as if it was the most natural thing in the world and she belonged there. She certainly felt like she did. She desired to stay like this forever, just for them to be together, holding each other in perfect harmony. This was what true and real love felt like.

She daydreamed of his kisses and soothing voice as she heard his steady heartbeat beat over and over again. She tilted her head up to observe his face. How sweet and innocent he looked as e slept. The softness in his features. She ran her fingers down his hairline towards his jaw, enjoying the feel of his soft skin against her fingers. She brought her right hand up to stroke his cheek.

Her heart fluttered as she felt two hands grip on her waist softly and she watched as the eyes she adored fluttered open. He smiled down at her as if she was his whole world and pulled her towards him even closer to anchor her lips down to his. They shared a soft, sweet, loving kiss and soon pulled away to gaze at each other's eyes deeply, their hearts swelling at the romance in the air all around them.

"You're so beautiful," he whispered, moving one hand from her waist to her own cheek, his thumb leisurely stroking it while their dreamy eyes bore into each other. Her hand still lingered on his cheek, her other hand going to the other cupping his face.

"So are you," she replied lovingly, watching as he slowly approached her and inverted their position that he was now on top and leaned in for another soft kiss. Their love softer and purer than ever.

"I love you so much, Caitlin Snow," he whispered against her lips making her heart melt inside of her chest.

"I love you too. So much... So much," she replied softly.

At this moment, she knew what she wanted. Him, all of him. Tonight.

...

"Hey, Iris. I really need your help," Caitlin greeted as her friend sat at her table in Jitters after agreeing to meet her here.

"What is it?" Iris asked with a smile.

"Well, I... I want Barry and I to... you know. Tonight. I haven't told him yet and I'm hoping to keep it as a surprise until tonight. But I'm nervous. As you know, I've never actually done it before. I don't know how to prepare or anything..." Caitlin explained, trying to keep her voice low as she blushed from her embarrassment.
