Game Of Love

"Hey, Iris!" Caitlin greeted, sitting down together at her table in Jitters.

"Hey, Caitlin," Iris replied happily, it was her and Eddie's two-year anniversary today so she was having a great day. "Guess what!"

"What?" Caitlin asked.

"You're supposed to guess," Caitlin looked at her blankly for a moment. "Okay, I will just tell you. So there's this couple game appropriately titled: Game Of Love. Basically, you and your partner have this board which is a bedsheet and you write in each tile on the board a question of some kind of an activity that you have to do. The people who made it have an idea bank with ideas for things like massages and kisses and loads of things for you do and you progress across the board until you make it to the end. Eddie and I first tried it last year on our first-year anniversary and it was great and so we've decided to do it again tonight but with a new board with new stuff. So we ordered a new one the other day and I thought seeing as you and Barry are so great together that you two might want to try it out. It's fun, so? Do you want to try it?" Iris explained.

"Why not? If you say it's fun then why not. It's our new years' resolution together to try out some new things so this might be fun," Caitlin replied.

"Yay! I'll come by your dorm room later and drop it off. I suggest you do it at night, obviously, it has mine and Eddie's things to do on it but it will be more fun as it might bring you out of your comfort zone a bit,"

An hour or so after Caitlin returned home, she heard a knock at the door and opened it and found Iris at the door carrying a box.

"Here you are: here's our one from last year. Is Barry not here?" she greeted.

"Thank you and no he's not. He's studying at the library but he will be back soon," Caitlin replied, taking the box from her and placing it on the bed.

"I need to go. I have a date with Eddie tonight so I better go get ready... Oh and one more thing, no peeking before he gets here and you start playing. It's better as a surprise,"

Later that night, Caitlin changed into her PJ's and as soon as Barry returned he told him to do the same.

"So Iris left me with this Game Of love thing. She and Eddie used it last year and they are getting a new one this year so she offered it to us and she said it would be fun so I thought we might want to try it. All the questions and tasks were from Iris and Eddie's game so just a heads up. I haven't looked at them yet so we will just have to see what's in store for us. So, are you up for it?" Caitlin explained to him.

"Okay, sure. Sounds fun," Barry agreed and they lay the board on the bed replacing the bedsheet with it.

"So, here's the start. So we should take turns in answering and doing the tasks. So if I read the first one and you have to do it then you read the next one and I'll do that one. Okay, when did you know that it was love?"

"Hmm, I think it was the night when we watched NCIS together. I had been falling for you all that time before but it was that night when I realized I loved you. Just seeing you so emotional and engrossed and us being so close I realized that you were so amazing and beautiful and I loved you," Barry replied, making her heart melt. Maybe this will be fun. "Okay, the second one: What was the best date we have ever been on?"

"I don't know they were all amazing. I think I would have to go with the night you took me ice skating. That was amazing and it was fun and you taught me how to skate and we skinny dipped in the middle of December like two crazy idiots and that special moment we spent in the car. I was amazing," she replied. "Okay, the third one is... oh. Erm, remove a piece of clothing," she said nervously.
