Barry and Caitlin arrived at Oliver's penthouse right on time for the party which was already packed. Oliver showed them to their room for the night and they quickly headed outside to the party. They stepped out onto the penthouse's rooftop pool where loads of people were swimming and there was a bar serving cocktails and other alcoholic beverages and music were playing in the background.
The ambiance and atmosphere were lively and fun loving and it seemed that everyone was having a great time. Putting their bag with their towels and stuff on a free deck chair, Caitlin removed the sun dress she was wearing and left it on the chair revealing the red bikini she was wearing. this one was different to the one she wore at the beach party as the shorts were high waisted and the top part was more strappy than having an actual back. Her hair was tied up in a messy bun and she was wearing sunglasses.
"Wow! You look... hot and beautiful," Barry complimented, taking off his own shirt and placing it on the chair and pulling her close by the waist.
"You don't so bad yourself," she teased flirtatiously, running her hands up and down his chest playfully. Smirking, he lifted her off the ground and walked towards the pool, getting ready to throw her in. "Bar! Please, no! Baby, please!" she pleaded.
"Throw her in! Throw her in! Throw her in!" everyone else chanted, there had to be at least sixty people here already and there was still much, much more to come.
He laughed and chucked her in and heard her squeal as she hit the water. He jumped in right after her and she giggled as she came up and wrapped her arms around him, her legs encircling his waist.
Time passed around them and many more people arrived including Iris and Eddie and Cisco and Felicity. She even brought Ray Palmer, her boyfriend, this time.
"You want a drink?" Barry yelled over the noise of the music and the people dancing and swimming.
"Yeah!" Caitlin replied, matching his high volume. They both got out the pool and walked through the crowds to the bar hand in hand.
"Two beers please," Barry requested from the bar when they arrived.
"Right up," the bartender replied, handing them two beer cans.
"Hey, you two!" Oliver greeted with Laurel on his arm.
"Hey, Oli, great party by the way!" Barry replied, being forced to yell once again over the loud music.
"Thanks, Barry, I did not expect this many people. We are going to completely overflow soon. There was be at least a hundred and fifty people here,"
"Well, it's not every day where you get to have a party in the Queen Penthouse. And there is free drinks, music. Why would anyone not want to attend?" Barry replied.
"We will see you around, okay,"
...
The party had increased and as the sun began to set over the penthouse the alcohol and drinking increased. There were streakers, people dancing on tables and all sorts of misdemeanors.
At one point, they even saw Iris dancing for everyone on the bar until Eddie came along and stopped her. She was clearly very drunk and he was clearly the more responsible drinker in this relationship. Similarly to how Barry was a much more responsible drinker than Caitlin but she was okay tonight. She kept herself grounded whilst still having fun. She didn't want to embarrass herself like she did at the beach party. Even though she didn't do anything that bad, she did say something that she definitely shouldn't have to Barry.
And although they had obviously consummated their relationship since then it was still a bit of an awkward subject between them and she didn't want a relapse of it happening again. Especially as there were lost more people to see and hear her say it if she id. No to mention that if they were to do that here in Oliver's penthouse it would just be weird. She preferred for them to be alone and not loads of people around them. Maybe other people can do it but she just couldn't. It just felt weird and anyone could walk in at any moment.
