Caitlin woke up with a smile on her face. She turned her head to see her and Barry tangled together with the sheet across them. She blushed at the thought of their activities last night and realized how amazing it truly was. She couldn't quite believe it.
It was everything that she hoped it would be and more, so much more. She brought her fingers to stroke his cheek lightly and smiled at the feel of it. She snuggled up closer to him, more than she already was, eliminating all space between them that remained, her head resting on his chest so she could hear his heartbeat and one hand resting on his forearm and the other trailing up and down is chest, their legs tangled together.
She had a habit of waking up before him because of how much of a heavy sleeper he was. She adored these moments as she could just enjoy being so close with her eyes closed listening to what was around her. She didn't want to move an inch, she felt good, amazing in fact. Best she had ever felt. Last night wasn't simple only for pleasure sex, it was special. They did it because they love each other and that was all that mattered in those moments. It had a greater emotional meaning for both of them, she knew it and could feel it.
She could remember every second, every moment, every feeling. It was perfect, he was perfect. Her feelings felt even clearer now, she loved him, she adored him, they belonged together and now it was more clear than ever. They had consummated their love, their relationship. Made love and now everything felt so much more real to her. Everything they felt was real, she had known it all along, an experience like that can't be a product of lust. It was love, deep, pure, amazing love.
Softly, she planted kisses on his chest and up to the bottom of his neck. She heard him groan as he woke up. His grip on her waist tightened and she leaned up to hover on top of him, her lips inches from his.
"Hey,"
"Hey,"
She closed her eyes and leaned in the rest of the way and softly pressed her lips against his missing the feel of them despite that only a few hours ago they had been united.
"I love you," she whispered as they pulled away, their noses bumping against each other and their foreheads touching.
"I love you too," he replied hoarsely from sleep and being breathless from the kiss they had just shared. She pecked his lips once again before laying back into her original position with her head lying on his chest and her hands this time moving up and down from his chest to his shoulders, counting freckles as she went.
"Last night, was..." she trailed of breathlessly from recounting that event in her mind for the second time this morning.
"You don't regret it do you?" he interrupted sadly, his eyes dropping down.
"No, no, no, of course not. It was amazing and perfect, you were amazing and perfect. It was the best night of my life and was everything that I had ever wanted and so much more. I could never regret it," she replied, assuring him of how she felt about it.
"Good, because it was amazing and perfect for me too, Cait. I love you so much, you know that right and you are so beautiful... in every way and I... I just wanted it to be as special for you as it was for me. It was your first time and I didn't want to disappoint you,"
"Barry, you could never disappoint me. You were perfect and I couldn't ask for anything more. Every second of last night was special for both of us. Our first time together. My first time ever. All I ever wanted was for you to make love to me and you did and so much more. And there is no place or no person that I would rather be with right now. You're it for me. I'm yours, all yours and I always have been. I have waited for you for my whole life and now that I have you I'm never letting go of you. You're mine now. All mine. I love you so much and I always will," she replied, making is heart melt.
