Caitlin was sat in class bored. She was currently stuck in a lecture where her and her fellow students were being taught something that she already knew all about and it was an awfully boring subject. Her elbow was resting on the table with her head in his hand whilst her other hand was drumming on the table whilst the stared at the clock above the professor's desk where the teacher was just droning on and on monotonously.

Time was going by so slowly and she just wanted to be home in Barry's arms right now. But it didn't matter how much she wished it; it wouldn't happen for quite some time. She was stuck in this lecture for another half an hour but it felt like way more. If only she had a time machine so she could forward to half an hour in the future so this would just be over, but she knew as well as anyone else that such technology did not exist and probably will not ever exist. Well, she could not help but hope.

She found herself daydreaming about Barry. She normally wouldn't do this but she missed him and her mind couldn't help but wander to a place which she could not help but lose herself in. And it seemed like everything was perfect in her dreams. She had Barry and that is really the only thing she truly needed in her life to be happy in her life. Even if she lost everything as long as she had him things wouldn't be the worst that they could be. She had her hope and shining star of optimism that she honestly needed to get through all the crazy things going on right now. With him by her side, she could conquer all her fears and there would still be hope even if everything else was gone. Life couldn't be so bad if she still had Barry Allen right beside her.

She was so lost in her daydream that when the professor dismissed the class she did not notice until everyone else had left; including the professor. Blushing and biting her lower lip, she grabbed her books and things off of her desk and her bag and hurried out the room to head home where she could find the special someone she had been thinking about for the last half an hour. On the way home, she stopped by Jitters to get some coffee for the both of them and bounded the rest of the way home.

"Hey Bar..." she greeted happily but cut herself off when she saw Barry sat with another girl beside him, the both of them looking very shocked when she bounced in. What was going on here? "Uh, Barry, what's going on?" she asked sternly.

"Cait, this isn't what it looks like. This is my cousin, Grace, who is in town for a few days. She's on leave from The Navy," Barry explained, worried that she thought he was cheating on her but he wasn't.

"Oh, you must be Caitlin! Barry told me all about you. Actually, he doesn't shut up about you. But I'm Grace Allen. It's nice to meet you, Caitlin," Grace greeted, standing up to shake her hand.

"I didn't know that you were coming, I'm surprised you didn't tell me, Bar," Caitlin replied with a smile.

"Oh, I didn't know she was even coming myself. she just turned up. She's staying with my parents for a few days and so she decided to drop in to see how I was doing," he explained, standing up and approaching Caitlin and putting an arm around the waist and pulling her close before whispering: "I would never cheat on you, I love you."

"I know. I just... sometimes I feel a bit insecure," she stumbled, not quite sure how to answer. He kissed the top of her head and she snuggled further into his side.

"Aww, you two are so cute!" Grace commented, making the couple blush like teenagers. "I have never seen you so happy, cuz, don't let this one go. And Caitlin, I know that he can be a right pain but he is a good guy really even though he's a pain in the ass sometimes. Believe me being five years older than him, I remember every annoying thing he has ever done. And it is definitely a long list. But you two look very happy together and I don't want to intrude or be the third wheel to your love fest. So I will see you around, cuz!" she continued before picking up her bag and leaving the room.
