Spring Break came around pretty quickly and Barry and Caitlin's break to San Francisco began.

They had a four-hour flight ahead of them and were staying at a hotel for the week. They woke up at seven to catch their nine O'clock flight and had arrived at the airport with their two suitcases. One thing that Caitlin had always hated was planes but there was no other way to get to San Francisco that won't take hours and hours and hours of time. It was the only way, no matter how much she hated it.

As the plane took off, Caitlin clutched at Barry's hand, her her face buried in his neck barely able to look up from her fear.

"Tell me when it's over," she whimpered.

"You are so adorable when you are scared," he chuckled, squeezing her hand to comfort her and kissed the top of her head then her hand followed by the tip of each finger.

"I just don't like planes. Or heights," she replied timidly.

"You will be fine, I won't let anything happen to you. We've stopped climbing now so you can come out now. You can't exactly stay there the whole four hours," he assured and she came away from his neck and unbuckled her seatbelt so she could cuddle up to him.

"Promise?"

"I promise. Nothing will happen. You will be just fine and if you're not then I will do anything to make you okay again," he promised and kissed her head again to add countenance to his words. She nodded leaned her head on his shoulder and felt his arm around her.

The four hours flew by quickly and they found themselves in San Francisco quicker than they thought. After getting their suitcases, they got a taxi to take them to their hotel.

"We have a room for two booked under the name of Barry Allen," Barry said to the receptionist. She searched on her computer and nodded and wandered into the back to get the room keys.

"Two keys. Your room is Room 109. It's on the third floor. As you can see, the restaurant is over there along with the bar. Room service is available if you want it," she stated handing them their keycards.

They found their room and stepped in. It overlooked the centre of the city and you could see the Golden Gate Bridge and skyscrapers everywhere. They unpacked their things and spent some time in the room together after changing into some more comfortable clothes, cuddling and watching TV to recover from the tiredness and jet lag from the flight. At some point during their cuddling, they fell asleep in each other's arms without a care in the world.

...

Caitlin woke up with Barry's arms around her and her head on his chest. She turned to the clock and saw that it was seven in evening. Did they really sleep in for that long? She kissed his cheek before untangling herself from him and grabbing the room service menu.

She ordered a large pizza for them through the room phone and laid back down and cuddled back up to Barry. It didn't take long for a knock at the door and the food to arrive. After taking the food from the staff, she placed the plate on the bed so she could wake Barry.

"Honey, I got pizza. Your favourite," she whispered in his ear, shaking him slightly and pecking his lips.

"Did I here pizza?" he groaned as he woke up, smiling with soft eyes when he saw her. She smiled and nodded and pulled the plate onto their laps and took a slice and fed a bit to him. "So where do you want to do today?" he asked as they got to the halfway mark of the pizza.

"You mean this evening. It's already quarter past seven. But there is some pretty good nightlife here so we could go to a club or something. Maybe visit the bridge. I do want to visit Alcatraz at some point this week though. There are loads of places we can go," she replied after swallowing a bite that she had just taken.
