Posy took all of the advise in, and saw the Labyrinth wasn't that difficult, she did have the advantage of having Jareth watching over her, every goblin was able to talk to her freely without the goblin king threatening to kill them or something. It was all on her side. It was as easy as anything, but it was still up to her to get to the castle quicker.
However, she did make it back within the time limit, everything was perfect... except one thing....
Sarah was still in the hospital, unaware on what had been going on.
Once again, Jareth sat in the small hospital waiting for news on Sarah. Jareth felt as if this had all happen before, but this time, he had the whole family there with him.
"I can't believe this." Jareth says putting his hands over his face
"Well, she's always said she's a clumsy one." Magenta says softly, jokingly, but still caring about her, Posy was resting in one of the guest rooms, Alfie was watching over her.
"What happens, if this time she doesn't pick herself back up. That, she's fallen again and won't get back up? I worry every time she just trips, or needs to catch herself when she's had too much to drink. Or when she cuts herself or hits herself in the face in the morning to pull the covers over herself. One day, she'll break, one day, she'll never see us again." Jareth said weakly
"You're worrying too much, everyone worries in there life. That's the point of life, we need to know these things to live. This is why I worry about Posy. And anyways, why are you worried? Sarah might be the clumsiest immortal I ever met, but tripping over something won't kill her, she's not as graceful as us because she came from a human background." Posy and Alfie walked in, and in Posy's hand was a novel: 'The past Kings and Queens of the Labyrinth' and she sat in the corner of the room.
"I'll be back soon" Alfie kisses Posy's head then winks at Magenta.
"She hasn't experienced any sort of worry, or love or anything. Ryanth will. But, sometimes, you can stop others worrying. Think of your son Jareth, he's only a young boy, if he sees you upset, he knows something has happened. You need to stay happy for him... For us. What are you gonna do about Ryanth, Jareth? He's still half human" Magenta says quietly
"We decided we'll change him when we think he's ready..." Jareth says bluntly
"You know, you're the first ever of our kind to have a half child..."
"I am aware Magenta." He sternly says.
"Does that affect your chances with the Stars to have another?" Magenta asks curiously
"No, it probably makes our chances greater." Jareth smiles "but my main concern is Sarah, not another child at the moment."
"Shame... Ryanth would really love a little brother or sister...!" Jareth just rolled his eyes at his younger sister.
"What about you, you could have another?" Jareth smiles
"You must be joking Jareth. One stressed me out enough, and we have no kingdom to worry about."
"You do." Jareth corrects
"What?"
"Well, you were the lost princess, why don't you go live in the Land of the Willows? They need a ruler there, and I don't need the land. Consider it a gift." Jareth smiles humbly at his little sister
"Does that make me a princess mum?!" Post speaks up
"I - I- Jareth I can't let you do that."
"No offence, but I kind of want my castle back with just me, Sarah and Ryanth, I'm trying to kick you out the nicest way possible. Guess now you'll have to ask the Stars for another baby." he winks and chuckles
