TANAYAH
I Thought You Was Different.

It had been a few weeks since I had seen my mom in jail and I told her I would sort things with Ro. I hadn't been able to because I had been so busy with work. In addition to all that it felt as if my stomach had grown overnight. I wasn't even six months yet but felt like I was ready to drop any minute now. I needed to plan ahead for the business so when I let Robin take over when the baby comes, she has a clear business structure to follow.

I had been missing many of my appointments lately and I really couldn't miss anymore. My midwife was constantly calling and messaging and it was getting on my last nerves. I decided I would go and see Ro later to sort things out and also let him know about my appointment so we could go together. I also needed to just be with him. I missed him and I was done with this petty behaviour.

Before all of this though, I was a woman on a mission. I got out my car and walked into the building of Tony's office. I reached his office, opened the door and walked in to see his secretary sucking him off. I could not believe my eyes. He had a wife and kids at home.

What the hell was he doing?

They were so busy they never even noticed me.

"Ahem." I said alerting them of my presence.

They both jumped, startled.

"That ain't Maria, Tony." I looked at him in disgust.

"Tanayah I can explain." Tony said with his trousers still down and trying to cover himself.

The secretary didn't care she had a smug look on her face as if she was happy she got caught.

"It's Miss Royal to you. Sort yourself out Tony. I'll be outside when you're ready."

I walked out, picked up a magazine that was on the table and read it as I waited. Five minutes later his door opened.

"So if you could sort out all the contacts I just gave you that would be great..." Tony had the cheek to say as if I didn't just catch them in the act. He then turned to me. "Tan...Miss Royal. Please come in."

I looked at him, rolled my eyes and walked into the office. As soon as he closed the door I let my mouth run.

"So this why my parents are still in jail, because you busy here fucking yo secretary?"

"What you saw..." I cut him off.

"What I saw was you getting yourself pleasured when we pay you to fix situations... yet, ain't shit fixed."

"There is a witness that claims they saw your parents at the scene of the crime. They are willing to testify. This is why things are not moving as quick. Apparently the witness is scared so they have them in protective custody. Now I know that your parents are innocent but if the people have gone out of their way to set them up they are going to do it properly. We literally have to wait it out until court. Your parents have had no communication other than through me. So their stories can't be the same unless it's the truth. Believe me when I say I am doing my best to get your parents out."

I looked at him and knew he was telling the truth. I was just very, very impatient. Before I left I had one more question.

"Why?" I asked him.

"Why what?" he answered.

"Why you cheating on yo wife?"

"Honestly, I don't know." I shook my head.

"You gotta lot of money. If yo wife found out you was having an affair she could take this all from you and yo kids. I don't think that hoe out there can cater to you like yo wife can. Think of it like this, if you can live without your wife and kids then continue what you are doing. But if you know you couldn't live without them then you need to nip this shit in the bud. I'ma be honest. The next time I come here I don't expect to see her working here. If she still is, I take it you chose her. Bye Tony."
