MAINE
What The Fuck?"Nayah...NAYAH!! Fuck!!" I sat down.
I wanted to chase her but I didn't want to argue or add any more stress on her. I couldn't believe what she just told me.
What the fuck?
I was pissed. Racquel to bear my seed? No this couldn't be happening. I made a phone call.
"Ay. Where you at?" I listened as the other person spoke. "Ite. I'm on my way."
I got in my car and drove to the underground gym. This was one of West's businesses. A lot of illegal boxing matches happened down here amongst other activities but mainly boxing. I changed into my work-out clothes and went to find my uncle. He was teaching a young buck how to box.
"Aye. I give you a thousand bucks if you let me jump in." I said to the young kid.
"Okay!" He said and let me take over.
"Waddup nephew." He said as he held the punching bag.
"Everything." I said punching the bag twice.
"Whoa. Take time. Lemme get a good grip!" my uncle said.
"Nayah just left me. You know I ain't seen her properly for four months. The two times I saw her was when she caught me in bed with Racquel and then today."
"Wait. You cheated on her? And got caught?" I punched the bag harder.
"No." I relayed the story about Racquel.
"Sheeeeiiiittttt. That's unlucky nephew."
"You know why all this started?"
"Nah. Why?"
"Because we went to visit Tyrone in pen..." He cut me off.
"Wait...he's in jail?"
"You never knew?"
"Nah man. Tyrell told everyone him and Tammy went Canada and Mexico on business then to the island to see his parents."
"Ahhhh...well I know they was telling the workers that but I thought you would know...I guess it makes sense though. If he don't feel he can trust you, why should you know?" I hit the bag even harder.
"Can't trust me? Why on earth couldn't he trust me?"
"The same way I'm thinking if I can trust you. As I said to you...this all started because the people who put Tyrone and Tammy behind bars be the same people who went missing which is why I took over, but I guess what the real shocker is...they...are...my...parents..." I hit the bag hard on every word. "But you already knew that...didn't you? UNCLE?"
I hit the bag again. So hard that dust started coming out of it.
"Sit down." He said to me.
I sat down and caught my breath.
"Listen yo parents ain't no good. Well yo momma... She ain't that bad. She just married the wrong guy and had to live the life he chose. My brother though. He's as slimy as they come. He's been a problem from he took his first breath. I done nothing but pick up after him and fix everything he broke or damaged. He's always envied the Royals but I can't tell you why. Tyrone was a hard worker. He wanted the money, the respect and the responsibility. Terrence just wanted to look the part but didn't wanna put the work in. Tyrone's pops offered me the position Tyrone has and he would have been my right hand man but I wasn't tryna be in charge. I like to be the guy no one sees unless they have to. I have always made my money on my own. That way, I don't got to worry about anything because I know I ain't gon get myself into nothing. The Royals got enemies who are scared of them but they also got fake friends who will act like they friends. That's the reason why they are where they are. I'm pissed he didn't tell me but I understand why. Now I know that, you best believe I'm gon get them out. Mark my words. Then y'all gon see I ain't no snake. I know a lot and I see a lot, I just don't say anything because there's always gon be a better time to do so." Uncle West said.
I didn't know what to believe he seemed genuine but it didn't change the fact he knew about my parents all this time and didn't say anything. I got up to leave because I just needed to be on my own.
"Yo playa, where my thousand buck at?" The young blood from earlier asked me.
"You see the guy you was sparring with? He gon give it to you." I said and pointed at Uncle West who laughed.
On my journey home, all I could think about were my parents. Even though I love and appreciate my grandma and Uncle West for looking after me and my siblings, there's nothing like having your parents to do that. I thought maybe they were dead or in jail but little did I know up until a few weeks before I came here, they been living this good life. They clearly didn't give two fucks about us. I needed kush and alcohol to relax me. I missed Nayah like crazy and I felt like this was really it for us. It can't be though. I wouldn't let it.

Two months had gone by and everything was the same, nothing had been fixed with me and Nayah and I was pretty certain her due date was fast approaching. I needed to keep busy so I had been putting in extra work.
Today was a day for myself. I had gone gym and the barbers and was looking forward to going home and chilling as I knew everyone would be out.
As I got out my car, I saw a woman standing at my door as if she was waiting for someone.
"Hello? You looking for somebody ma'am?" I said and she turned around.
I couldn't believe it. She looked just like Layla but about thirty years older. She had the same grey eyes we all had. I didn't even have to ask I knew exactly who she was.
