TANAYAH
Poker Face.

Having the girls around was fun. I invited Robin and Layla around. I didn't want them to think that there was a problem. They even had a little something for me for my birthday. I was missing Mica like crazy. They were due back in a couple weeks and I couldn't wait to see her. Both her and Jayden said they had a surprise, so I was even more excited. Unless their surprise was that they got married abroad; because truth be told they would have to marry again. No way was I going to miss out on that.

I had to go visit my pops today. I didn't really want to I was approaching my eighth month and was feeling miserable as hell. I decided to call Bofty and tell him I needed his assistance. I don't know why I was surprised when he said his car was parked outside. He's my personal security from as long as I can remember. He gives me my space and more often than not I forget that he's around. Sometimes I sneak off without him realizing but that doesn't happen often. Especially after I got shot. I guess even more now that my parents were in jail.

I missed them so much. I was hoping this visit was for something good maybe they are being released. I made security aware of who Bofty was so he could drive in because I was not walking all the way to the gates. Once I got in the car I thought about how much I missed Romaine. I got a new phone so I could speak to the girls. I didn't trust my brothers. Now that they accepted him; if I gave them my number they would have tracked me down and told him where I lived and I didn't want that, not yet anyway. The babies would be born soon so I knew I'd have to talk to him. It was only fair. I had bought another house near to the family house, I would let him come to that house as I didn't want or need him to know about my main house.

We pulled up to the prison and Bofty waited in the car. I waddled into the prison and went through the security procedures before being escorted to the visiting room. When I saw my pops come out I couldn't stop smiling; I got up to hug him and he rubbed my stomach.

"I see you been up in the gym pops. You hench now." I smiled at him.

"Gotta keep busy in here baby girl or else ima go insane. You real big now, look like you about to pop." Pops joked.

"Yeah I got couple weeks left. And I'm having twins. Aye pops do we got twins in the family cos this don't make a scrap o' sense?" I was still confused as to how I was carrying twins.

"Yo grandma on yo momma side; her sister was a twin I think.", was pops' response.

"When y'all coming out? I need y'all there for the birth of my babies."

"They said court should start next week or so but it's not looking promising."

I started getting teary eyed. I missed them.

"I need you guys. It's been months! I can't do this alone." I moaned.

"This is why you need to make things right with Maine." I wiped my tears at what my father said.

How did he know?

"Who told you?" I asked.

"He did. He came here with Tyrell to tell me everything. I believe him Tanayah. You need to give him a chance to explain. Look at him properly and listen to him, really listen to him. You will know he's telling the truth. You just said you are about to have twins. You can't do this alone."

I knew my pops was right. I never actually gave Ro a chance to explain and when I think about it, I don't think he was actually aware of what was going on. I sighed.

"I'll talk to him."

"Today."

"Pops......"

"Don't pops me nothing. You leave here and make plans to go see that boy. There's nothing else important."
