Kung sino man yung naglista ng pangalan ko sa mga nominado sisiguraduhin ko na magbabayad siya.

"Baliw ka ba?!" galit kong sabi kay Travis.

"I just wanted you to have a memorable prom. I thought you'll be happy."

"You know I don't want that kind of things, right?" I sighed.

"Sorry."

I sighed. "Eh ano pa bang magagawa ko."

I went in the library to read books because it's my vacant time. I got a book which is entitled, "Everything, Everything" by Nicola Yoon.

"Nice choice, I like that book." sabi ni Connor mula sa likuran ko at tumabi siya sa akin.

I can feel him breathing in my neck and I had goosebumps.

"Anong binabasa mo?" I looked at him and he seems to be reading some poetry. "I did not know you like poetry."

He chuckled and he is so handsome. "What makes you think I don't like books?"

Umiling ako. "Hindi ko alam, it's just your aura. I mean, you're a football player, babaero, bully and-"

"And seriously handsome to read books?" tumawa siya.

"Narcissistic" I mumbled.

"Judgemental" he said back.

Kapag nakangiti siya parang yung araw ay bumababa mula sa kalangitan.

"Are you going to the prom?" I asked. At hindi ko alam bakit tinanong ko yon, lumabas lang sa bibig ko.

"Yeah, ikaw?"

I shrugged.

Tumawa siya. "Of course you'll go you're with Trav, right?" there was a slight change in his face.

"Yes" I smiled.

He concentrated reading the book. "You really like him, don't you? So lucky."

"As a bestfriend." mabilis kong sagot.

His voice changed into a serious tone. "Pero ano yung sinabi mo kay Ella about Travis, you mean that?"

"Hindi, hindi talaga. Sumusobra na siya eh."

"Pasensya na sa ginawa niya, she doesn't know what she's doing. Mukhang nababaliw na kay Trav." si Connor

Tumango ako. "Okay see you sa prom."

Prom is due tomorrow and I'm so excited about the food. But first magtatrabaho muna ako ngayong araw.

"Ma, I'm just gonna help Travis in their shop, I'll be back by 9." tugon ko kay mama.

I was about to go out. "Sige anak, stay safe sa work."

I knew this day would come na malalaman niya. I breathe heavily. Pumasok ako ulit.

"Ma, I can explain."

"No, Jul. It's okay, Travis is with you, diba?"

"Umm..yeah." I frowned. "Mukhang close kayo no?"

"Off to work." she smiled.

Sa cafe dumating ako at nandoon na si Travis lumalakad papunta sa akin.
