Chapter 36- It takes a little bit of convincing

AT EDDIE'S PENTHOUSE:

Stephanie: Hey babe, who was that?

Eddie: Oh, it was no one

Stephanie: I know when your lying. Just tell me, I'll be ok with it

Eddie: It was Loren Tate's manager

Stephanie: What did she want?

Eddie: She wanted me to break up Loren and her boyfriend

Stephanie: What why?

Eddie: I don't know. Something to do with her career

Stephanie: And you said yes?

Eddie: Yes, yes I did

Stephanie: Do you mind me asking why you said yes?

Eddie: Well because Loren and I are still friends

Stephanie: *under her breathe* Yeah, friends with benefits

Eddie: Huh?

Stephanie: *sighs* Nothing. I just, really want you to know that I'm not comfortable with this

Eddie: I know. And I'm sorry. But, I think I kinda owe it to her

Stephanie: I get it.

Silence came over the room until Stephanie asked Eddie the hardest question he's ever been asked. And it killed him to lie about it

Stephanie: Eddie do you still have feelings for Loren?

Eddie: No, no of course not. I'm with you. Your the only girl I have eyes for

Stephanie: *sighs* I wish I could believe you.

Eddie: You can. You wanna know how?

Stephanie: How?

Eddie grabbed his phone and called Kelly

PHONE CALL:

Kelly: Hello?

Eddie: Kelly, I'm not interfering with Loren and Cameron's relationship. It's none of my business anymore and I I've someone else now. I have, for a while. Im not breaking her up. Let them be. Goodbye

Eddie hug up the phone

Eddie: I said no.

Stephanie: You would do that for me?

Eddie: I just did

Stephanie: How did I get so lucky?

Eddie: Ya know, I really don't know how you got so lucky. I mean I'm a real catch *laughs*

Stephanie: *laughs*
