Chapter 38- Will you Marry Me?

Eddie was so nervous. Loren was actually coming over his house. She listened to the CD and his plan worked. But his house was a mess. Toys everywhere, all the rooms were messed up. He couldn't let Loren see him like this. Everything was messed up. So he spent the next half an hour trying to fix everything up. He cleaned up most of the mess, but there was still some mess in some places. He decided to nose it all to one area of his house and pretend that it was a "play area" for Katy. Basically, it was an excuse to have the toys all over the place. He took Katy out of her crib for her bottle when the doorbell rung. He quickly put Katy in her "play area" with her little bed, laid her down, tidied himself up really quick, and then got himself ready to open the door. He finally opened it to see Loren. There was a little bit of awkward silence until Loren started talking

Loren: So, um, can I, come in?

Eddie: Um, yeah, sure

Loren: *walked into the apartment to see Katy* Oh my god, Eddie, she's adorable

Eddie: *quiet laugh* Thank you. She's been a breeze to take care of, especially with Nora and pops coming

Loren: Oh yeah. Aren't we, like, related?

Eddie: That's really wowed to think about isn't it?

Loren: Yeah. But we aren't blood relatives.

Eddie: Yep. *sigh* Why are you here Loren?

Loren: Well I was listening to the note and I was gonna come here, but then you said you didn't write the note, so I couldn't really go back on it
