Chapter 46- Extending

Eddie woke up after what seemed to be forever. He lifted up his head and saw that he was on the side of the road. He slowly pieced together the pieces of the puzzle that was what had just happened. He also slowly remembered what had happened. He was speeding and then out of no where, there was something in the road. He tried to avoid it, and then he slid. He hit is head on the steering wheel and got knocked out. He figured that it was best that he get a tow truck. He called one and they got there within a half an hour they hooked the car up to the truck and Eddie hopped into the front. The tow truck driver insisted that Eddie go to the hospital, or at leas the doctor, but he said no. He texted his dad to see if he could watch Katy for another day

TEXT MESSAGES:

Eddie: Hey, dad, could you watch Katy for another day? I just got into a minor accident and I need to rest. I hit my head on the steering wheel. The car isn't damaged though. I tow truck company just picked me up, so I'm all good

Max: Are you alright? Do you need to be checked out? Go to the hospital? To the doctor?

Eddie: No, I'm fine. Can you watch Katy for another day though?

Max: Yes, of course. I'll be by to check on you soon
