Neal chuckles. "What would you say if I did?" he leans closer to me. My heart starts beating fast. Like really fast that I felt like he could hear it. It hasn't done that in a long time.
I push him out of my way and walk towards homeroom. I go inside and the class was halfway filled. About 7 kids were missing. I quickly go in my seat and say morning to my home room teacher. But he didn't hear because 2 female students were flirting with him.
Do you have any shame?
That's when a tall guy comes in and it was Neal this time. He looks at me then grins. What's wrong with him? He comes my way, I stop looking at him and take out my phone trying to look busy. He doesn't talk to me but sits next to me.
I turn my head and see him staring at me. That's when I notice that his desk says his name-Dammit!
"Hey Eileen, those two in the back look like a perfect couple!" she points and me. I could tell that she meant me and Neal because he was the only boy near me.
"Don't we look neat together?" he say jokingly. Yea we look sooo great together.
"Whatever." I put my hand in my hair, what a great way to start off the day! I wonder what I have first period. Then the teacher hands out each our own cards telling our different classes.
"Hey we got same first period," a girl with blonde hair and pink highlights said. Who was she talking to me or Neal? "I'm Delilah."
"Who are you talking to?" Neal asked before I could.
"Both of you!" she said with a huge smile. That's the last thing I need.
I look at him and he's just smiling at me, he does look good-
What the hell am I thinking?!
We were the first three in French class. Nobody else was here expect for the teacher. That's when the door opens, I turn around and see-
"Jake!" Neal says.
