Heavenly War

Eren was an official guardian angel. Sure, he didn't feel any different, but the title sounded cool. He had worked hard for this position, and now he would be able to fight the fallen. The fallen were a group of angels, that were technically demons now. Eren hated demons with a burning passion. His mother had died at the hands of a demon, and now that he could kill them, he would get his revenge. Finally, he would get his revenge. 

Eren had learned all about demons when he was younger, he knew about how they live, what they do, and most of all their mates. You see, demons believe that they have people that they're connected to. It's almost ironic, that they believe in true love. Angels just do work, not caring about each other in any romantic scenario, just smile and wave. 

Demons will be able to 'sense' when their soulmate is near. They will sometimes search for the one they will love. The only thing is, that demons may think of love as different. There are different ways that the demons treat their mates. They would usually never follow the Fallen, so the demons usually kidnapped them. Half of the time, they abuse their lover, not caring about them truly. The other half is a different story. The other half coddled, cuddled, and treated them like royalty. Willing to give their life to their number one, no questions asked.

"We're being attacked!!! The Fallen are at the gates!!!" Armin crashed into Eren, trying to warn people about the attack. "There are hundreds! We need to get to safety!" Eren refused, and pulled out of Armin's hold, running towards the front gates. By the time Eren had gotten there, the gates had almost been ripped off it's hinges. Eren gritted his teeth, and charged towards the front of the battle. Left and right, demons and angels were alike were dying, getting torn apart with no remorse.' What do the demons want?!'  Eren thought angrily, barely dodging someone's dagger. 

Another demon charged him, with a sharp object. Moving to fast to process what the thing was holding. I braced myself, and grabbed his wrist, twisting sharply and breaking his bone with a sickening crunch. After that, demon after demon came to fight Eren, and Eren was starting to get over run by these creatures. Right as Eren was about to pass out, he saw a flash of movement, and the next thing he knew, a figure was knelt next to him. All the angel saw was was a beautiful pair of eyes, and darkness.

Turns out that pair of beautiful eyes belonged to a demon. His name was Levi, and he was said to be the cruelest demon there ever was. Turns out, when it comes to Eren, he's the biggest softie, even if he was sarcastic. He cared about Eren, and would fight for him till the ends of the earth. Eren didn't mind demons as much now, especially that he was living with one. Even if Levi had just about taken Eren away while he was unconscious, that was because Eren was close to death. According the Levi, Eren had 'Better be grateful you brat.' Which made Eren laugh. 

Eren was also considered a Fallen now, since he had chosen to stay in the land of the Fallen with Levi. Armin is considered a Fallen. A demon, who just so happened to know Levi really well, took Armin. Armin was scared at first, but he realized that Eren was a few houses down. Then Erwin, Armin's demon, encouraged Armin to visit Eren every two days for a sense of familiarity. Erwin cared for Armin like a little princess. 

Eren was happy. He got freedom and got to stay with Levi for the rest of his life. What more could he honestly ask for? Eren smiled at that thought, when a voice interrupted is thought process.

"Oi. Brat. Are you paying attention. You can't space on our date, especially on our anniversary." Levi said, poking Eren's face. Eren snapped out of it, and turned to Levi, grinning.

"Sorry Love. I was just wondering how I got as lucky to have you as a soulmate."
