Hugs

"Sir. You need a hug." Eren says suddenly, looking back from the window he was in the middle of washing.

Levi turned to him in almost surprise, although his face didn't reveal his emotions. "What did you just say, Jeager."

Eren simply shrugged and continued with his cleaning, "you just seem tense and upset. Ever since..." he paused for a moment, "ever since our squad."

Levi felt his breath catch, but kept his eyes trained on the area he was sweeping.

Eren watched Levi stiffly clean, and approached him quietly.

Levi was attempting not to take ragged breaths, but the younger one noticed the pain flickering in his silver eyes.

Eren shyly wrapped his arms around Levi, feeling him freeze at his gentle touch. After a moment of stillness, Levi let out a long held breath, and turned around, hesitantly hugging the cadet back.

Eren smiled softly as Levi shut his eyes, calmly, and muttered, "it's not fair."

Eren said nothing as he felt the raven shake ever so slightly, remembering the horrors that occurred not even two days ago. The loss of the whole Levi squad from the female titan still prominent in his mind.

They stood there together, The Cadet comforting the Captain.

I know, it's short, but it was a small idea of Eren helping Levi be strong, even if they're not dating. I really liked that idea!
