Intro

All my life I've been perfectly aware that I was different from kids my age. I didn't really look different and wasn't treated any different than any normal child. I just felt different. My mother told me the story of when I was born. That on that day lighting struck a tree outside the hospital. She and my father never did hide things from me. Who I really was never a secret, their life before me was never hidden. It was always out in the open. When the day came, for me to find out who I was my parents didn't hold back. I knew my life was going to be different than those around me. My teenage years were going to difficult. As if acne, raging hormones and high school, and homework wasn't enough. I had blood, blending in with humans and other vampire crap to worry about. Oh did I forget to say that I start high school this year? FML
