Chapter 2 || Fun There

You noticed how you were completely safe while venturing throughout the walls, though you knew no normal family would do this. It was all okay, right until, the first titan showed up. "10 METER!" your dad yelled as he looked at the titan, as if he expected one of us to help him. You suspected him to actually KILL, the titan but he ended up shifting his horse to the left dodging it, causing it to hit it's head against a tree. You saw your mom awkwardly smiling, then saying

"Don't worry (n/n). You're gonna be safe, dad will protect us." You nodded your head and wrinkled your nose, having some doubt about your dad some how 'protecting you', when he's probably just going to save himself. You smiled back at your mom, letting the locks of your (h/c) cover your face so she won't see your frown. You slowly stood up and looked at your dad out of curiosity.

Spotting your dad drinking, you have a slight freak out hoping he's not drunk. "Mom. He. Is. Drinking." Your moms beautiful smile slowly turned into a worried gasp, "We aren't going to survive mom.." you say sitting down and slouching down at your seat, you feel your cheek sting when you noticed your mom smacked you. "Don't say stuff like that! We will do whatever we could just to let you live, okay, (n/n)?"

A few hours later, you finally reached the front wall of the Shiganshina District. Hot liquid unnoticeably flowed down your cheeks as you looked at it, your mom wiped your tears off your face as your dad furrowed his eyebrows at you. "What?" you say furrowing your eyebrows at him, too. "If you're thinking about Jean, stop. You're too young to fall in love (l/n)."

A frown curved on your lips as you heard what he said. You saw the walls open and your family rode ain, you got stares from the kids their, some people smirked, you heard other people say things about you. When the walls closed, it startled you and you turned around in fear. Shaking. I miss Jean. You thought in your mind, you looked to the left just to see a boy with blonde hair and wide blue eyes reading a book.

"Aki, I forgot to mention, they reserved us a new home. Hannes and I go back" your dad said to your mom, "Dad. I don't trust Hannes. He's a lazy drunk just like yo- the other MPS." you say as your dad furrows his eyebrows at you, you suddenly look down hoping he wont yell at you again. A boy with brown hair with a girl with black eyes widen their eyes as they look at you.

You both catch gazes as the boy with brown hair whispers to the girl next to him, "Mikasa! Look.. it's the new person, I think their name is.. '(f/n) (l/n)". The girl with black hair gives you another stare, a warm and competitive one. You then give her a smile, hoping you don't cause any rivalry. Your family finally reaches your new house, which looks nothing like your old house.

Your family walks in, it isn't very big. You thought. The only thing your dad does is bring in the couch, then sits down. "(f/n), ya gonna do something or just stare at me?" you rolled your eyes and started to move all your stuff in, with your mom helping you. "Mom. Can I take a break?" you say as she says, "yes". You walk outside just to see the same boy ypu saw earlier get beaten up by bullies.

"What book cha' reading kuh?" the blond haired boy squints his eyes right until they look like small slits on his face, with small tears building up in his eyes. You run up to the bullies and kick them, causing one to fall and the rest to gang up on you. The blonde boy then suddenly grabbed your wrist and ran with you, "Why did you save me like that!" he whispered with heavy breathing.

You slightly smiled then said "Why did you save me like that?" he gave off a chuckle then continued running, You pulled your wrist away from his hand and hid in an alleyway with him, he again smiled at you. "I saved you because you saved me. Whats your reason?" You then sat down, chuckled, and said "Well it's because I'm that (g/n) from Trost, and I had a friend I used to protect like this, too."

"Wow.. looks like you had a good life back in Trost." He said looking down. "But I'm glad you came here! Because without you here now, I would've been dead... say. Wanna meet my other friends?" You wrinkled your nose then nodded. getting up slowly, then grasping his hand so he can get up too. You then started to walk towards your house, "Where are you going?" the boy said.

You turned around and said, "Back to my house, by the way. My names (f/n), bye." he tilted his head to the left then said, "Oh, well bye. AND MY NAMES ARMIN!" he said running the opposite direction. You chuckled again and walked into your house, seeing everything moved in. Kind of like home, you thought to yourself. You walked to your room, only to lay down on your bed and think about Jean.

Jean. Crap.. that names stuck in my head. You thought slapping your forehead, banging your head on your wall, thinking it will erase more of your memories of.. him. "(f/n)! Lunch is ready." you sat up and walked to the living room, just to see a fairly small table, your mom had prepared soup. You glared at it, as your dad stared at you and said. "You have a staring problem (l/n), go eat."

You furrowed your eyebrows and sat down. Playing with your spoon, because you weren't that hungry. You finally took a bite/sip out of your soup then finished. That was a quick lunch, you thought while walking out the door, "Where are you going?" your father said while reading his paper. "Hanging out with my friends, 'dad". You say as you walk out of the house. You spot Armin and his friends, so you decided to walk up to them.

"Hey (f/n)! Oh! These are my friends, Eren and Mikasa." Armin says as they both say 'hey'. You break a smile then wave your hand at them, giving them a sign that you're now their ally. "Say, aren't you that girl from Trost?" Eren says with an astonished voice. You nod your head, he suddenly freaks. "IT MUST'VE BEEN HARD TO LIVE THERE! THAT PLACE HAS A THE HIGHEST TAXES! YOU MUST BE RICH!"

Wrinkling your nose, you suddenly say "No. It was fun there." He twists his head, then puts his hand to his chin. Thinking. "(f/n) (l/n), is it? Hey.. can we be friends?" Eren says with a big smile plastered around his face.

"Yeah. Sure"

HOLOO ~~~ sorry if this fanfiction - book is terrible ;v; everything escalates soooooOoooOoooo quickly, but it's hard for a writer who's starting ;(. I'm testing my skills, but still. I really hope you like this story. Also, 19 reads. OF,MFOFMFKFOFKFMFKFKPFOFOFFOOFOSOQOWKSKWLWL
