Chapter 35 || The End

It was one of those days where things didn't go so well, you and Jean were going to the store to buy some food since you found some money on the floor. He giggled, knowing that this wasn't allowed from his mom or your step mom.

"Haha!! We can buy extra for our pare- (F/N)!!!!!!" He was blocked off as he spotted someone grab your arm and pull you away, he dropped the money and ran over to you as the man threw you to the ground and put his foot on your back harshly, causing you to wince, "JEAN!! GO AWAY I CAN DO THIS!" He ignores you and tackles the guy, you pull Jean off and punch the man. Causing him to fall onto the floor, passed out.

He looked over at you, smiling. "Whoa! You're strong!!" You quickly ran back, pulling Jean's arm so he could quickly follow. Why did the pain just suddenly go away.. ugh.. nevermind. We need to get back, it's not safe here and Jean could easily get hurt.

You thought in your head as Jean furrowed his eyebrows, "(f/n).. why are we running?" you looked over at him and put on a fake smile. "It's not really safe here. Lets go!" It was always obvious that you were stronger and more intelligent than Jean. You knew many secrets that you weren't allowed to tell anyone..

Until now

"WHERE ARE THEY! YOU NEED TO TELL ME RIGHT NOW BEFORE I-" Levi stops you and pushes you into a corner harshly, you hug your knees and start scratching yourself. Crying and crying with no end, clenching your fists. Everyone looked over at you, Jean stood there. In pain. Watching you cry like that, it hurt him while Ymir stood there. Confused. "(f/n).. you've been hiding so much.. for so long.. is that why you're so strong? Is that why you always act.. differently than now? When you are about to die.. you always seem to cry. Is it because.. if it ends.."

You looked into his eyes, "YES! OKAY JEAN, YES. IF I DIE.. the people I've met.. all the shit I've been through.. would be for nothing. When I didn't know I was a titan shifter, I always felt as if my real parents would want me to live a life of freedom, when they so called 'died', I was so depressed.. then when.. I met you.. I felt as if I had to be happy in order to keep you happy."

Sniffling and wheezing, "Jean.. tell me.. why are we not free?" His eyes widen as Ymir looks at you, almost crying. "WE ARE FREE YOU-"

Ymir was stopped by the sound of load maneuver gear whirling beside her. Yet everything went silent as you stood there with blood slowly parting from a slit from the nape of your neck. Everyone just watched in fear as you suddenly fell down, with a tear quickly flowing down your face. No one moved, until Jean bit his lip. "(f-(f/n)?" You started bleeding out has you turned slightly pale. Jean started crying as Ymir did the same, Mikasa watched in pure horror as everyone turned around to see Kenny the Ripper.

Levi stood there with a straight, yet pissed face. Mikasa, Ymir, and Jean ran to Kenny and tried attacking him yet, that wouldn't do anything.

It was over. You were officially dead, Jean was left there looking at your grave. Thinking about all the the things he's done wrong. All the memories, he was crying more than he's ever before. Everyone was depressed.

The halls within the survey corps were now silent, empty and full of sobs. As the last titan was killed, everyone went to the ocean and looked up to the sky.

Thinking about you, the one who changed all of their lives forever.

"(f/n) would've loved this."

Jean said, with a raspy, dry, voice. Ymir turned to him and smiled.

"Well.. I guess it was just a bunch of scenarios."
