Chapter 27 || Lies

He slowly backs away from the new couple, you and Reiner. Reiner plays an act and stands up, grabbing him by his collar. "How dare you hurt (f/n) like that?" Jean snarled and punched him. He stood up and punched him back. You slowly watched the fight as Reiner quickly leaned his hand towards yours, you grabbed it and stood up. He swung his arm around your shoulders and you both went back to the room you all were sleeping in.

Jean stood and cried, Ymir suddenly came and patted his shoulder, clenching her fists. "I swear to god I will kill that ape." She says looking over at him. "You'll get (f/n) back soon.. just not now." He turns his head to her and stares at her with his dull eyes. She slowly nods walks back, Ymir frowned. He finally went to the room and saw you peacefully sleeping on Reiner's arm. He clenches his fist as Ymir grabs his shoulder, "Oi. You'll get her back."

You slowly open your eyes and see Jean. You quickly stand up.

Then slowly backing away from him, your eyes turn watery as he approaches you. He attempts to grab you but you run away. He runs with you, yet faster. Grabbing your arm and hugging you, "N...No" You whisper trying to get him off you. He hugs you tighter as you use all your strength to pull him off. He stays without moving a bit. "I l..love you (f/n) and those were all lies." You cry even more as you punch his stomach, he grunts but doesn't let go. "Jean, let me go.. please.." You say as he looks into your eyes. Reiner comes and pushes him off, he falls onto the ground off guard. "If you don't fuck off right this instant I will literally kill y-"

Reiner said as he was blocked off by Nanaba, "The titans!- argh.. the titans are coming." She says as the building shakes, your eyes widen as you quickly run upstairs and look down, seeing titans shaking the building. You run down to the basement as everyone follows you. "UGH! QUIT SHAKING THE DAMN BUILDING-" Ymir screams as Connie grabs her and covers her mouth, "Shut up!" He yells running down to the basement, grabbing Ymir as she carries Bertholdt. He wakes up and finds himself shaking, his eyes widen as he punches the person who's carrying him. She falls as Connie grabs them both by there hands, dragging them down the stairs.

You look at the door with curiosity, you slowly open it, just to see a titan peeking through. You shake as it tries to open the door, you then use force to close it. The titan suddenly opens it and attempts to bite your hand, you quickly walk back. You were about to bite your thumb as Reiner pushed you out of the way and punched it.

It fell down the stairs, he hugged you tightly. "I'm afraid." You say trembling, "Of what?" He adds wrinkling his nose. "Of the world and how it makes you feel." You say as you put on a straight face. You harshly push Reiner away and walk upstairs. "O-Oi! (f/n)!"

Connie yells as you walk up faster, you look down and see everyone fighting titans. You clench your fists as you lock eyes with someone. They maneuver up, "Hey! Get back down! You're gonna die!" She says wiping the blood off her face, another solider comes up as you see a horse coming towards you, your eyes widen as you duck down, they get crushed by the horse while your safe. You quickly stand up and look down, seeing Nanaba and someone else being eaten alive.

Your eyes widen once more as the Titans shake the building more harshly, causing you to fall off. But right as you are, you feel something grab your foot. It was Jean, he grabbed you and threw you to the other side of the building. Everyone walked upstairs and saw the titans, "Are we gonna die?" Connie says with wide eyes. You slowly nod as Ymir grabs your shoulder.

"(f/n), I love you so damn much. But you need to complete my final wish and date Jean again, because what Reiner said was a lie and I wish I had some way to prove it to you, but I don't. So right now, you need to leave that bastard and get back with the horse after this."

She says jumping off the building, your eyes widen as you run and look down, Connie pulls you back. "YMIR!" You scream in horror, you punch Connie with all your strength and look back down. Seeing Ymir bite her thumb and turn into a titan. Your eyes widen at that, she rips off peoples napes and bites them with no hesitation. You stand on top of the building and scream, "C'MON YMIR! YOU CAN DO IT!" You scream as a titan grabs her hair and the other chews on her leg. She lets out a titan roar and punches the titan who was grasping her hair. Another titan then pulls her hair and tries to eat her. "YMIR! NO!"

You yell jumping down and running to her, but right as you are, a titan pops up. Your eyes widen as it comes closer, then suddenly Eren comes and slices it's nape. You run over to Ymir, trying to pull her out of her titan form. You use the last of your strength and throw her onto the floor. You grunt and walk over to her, tugging her shirt. Trying to get her to wake up.

Her eyes open slowly as she grasps your cheek, "So. Do you believe me about Reiner?" She says with a smirk, you cry onto her chest and nod. You then run over to Jean and hug him, leaving him stunned. You dig your face into his chest as he pats your head. Reiner stands on the side, stunned.
