Chapter 12 || Tears

"M-Mikasa?" You yelled finding yourself lost on a roof, right as Ymir let you down earlier, you went to look for titans. Though, right in the middle of your mission to find Titan's, your gear broke. "EREN?!" You yelled once again. You sat on the floor and thought about your life miserably. You quickly took off your maneuver gear and threw it somewhere, right as you did that, you heard someone say "Ow!"

You quickly walked over and saw Connie.

Relieved, you ran over to him and hugged him. "Where is everyone else?" He shrugged. You both sat down as he took out a piece of bread he stole from the counters. You quickly grabbed the bread and threw it. He snarled at you and sighed. You looked at his 3DM gear. "Oi. Connie. C'mon, lets go find Mikasa."

He nodded and maneuvered to the next roof, he turned around again to see you just standing there. He wrinkled his nose, "Are you gonna come?" He finally added, then looking at your maneuver gear. He quickly went back and grabbed you, "LORD YOU'RE FAT (f/n)!" You slap him as he maneuvers with you in his hands, you both finally find Mikasa, who's surrounded by Titans. "Connie give me your 3DM gear, I'm better at using it"

You say getting closer to him.

"HELL NO!" He squeaks, you give him the death glare as slowly 'tch'-es. He throws you his 3DM gear and sits on the roof. You let out a battle cry and quickly slice the titan's nape, you quickly grab Mikasa, then look at a titan whose fighting the rest, you furrow your eyebrows then let her down. "(F/N)! YOU HAVE A SLIT ON YOUR FACE!"

She screams holding you, you smile as you add, "Jean accidentally cut me." She clenches her fists, "I swear I will kill that horse." She adds, snarling. You giggle then go to give Connie his 3DM gear back. "I am not taking that. You said you're 'better' than me so you're carrying Mikasa and I."

He says in a bratty voice, you groan and carry him. He puts his hands up and laughs, you roll your eyes then puts him near Mikasa. You stare at Mikasa's waist, noticing that her 3DMG is off. You nod and sit on the roof, then seeing a Titan coming closer.

"I'll get it!" You squeal with confidence, you fly around it, then reaching it's nape, the titan quickly grabs you and puts you in front of it. It examines you and puts you down. You wrinkle your nose, the titan looks down at you then walks away. You maneuver back up and stare at Mikasa.

"He didn't eat me." You say, she nods and pats your head. "I'm gonna look for Jean and Ymir." You mention throwing your 3DMG at them, "Aren't you gonna use this?" Connie says, "Nope."

You jump over to the next roof, barely falling. You keep doing that hoping not to run into any Titan's, you find Ymir. "YMIR!" You scream, her eyes widen as she sees you, she grabs your waist and maneuvers back to base, she pulls you closer to her chest as you both reach the floor. You feel a wet substance on her cheek, you look up just to see her crying.
"You dumbass! You could've died!"

Flinching, she grabs you again and looks directly in your face. Seeing two slits on your face.

"RUN!" Reiner yelled as he heard a titan coming, you ran as Jean stood still. Staring at them, you quickly ran to him and pulled him by his waist, he didn't move. He stood there. You stood in back of him in fear. Your eyes widened as you saw the titan you were staring at punched, the wind impact threw you back, but right as you were about to fall, jean quickly turned around and grabbed you. He put you near his chest and started walking towards the hole the titan's made, just as he did that, Mikasa, Connie, and Armin came through the window. "You made it?! There was barely any gas left in that!" You yelled backing away from Jean. Mikasa went closer to Jean and grabbed him by his collar, death glaring him. Mikasa dropped him and aimed to punch him, but right away, Zak got in the way and stopped it. Causing her to fall on the ground. Jean opened his eyes and looked at Zak who was grimacing in pain, his eyes widened as he saw her, she slowly got up and walked away, you tried to chase after her but she continued to push you away. "I'm fine (f/n). A little punch wouldn't hurt."

Mikasa nods at you as you walk back to Jean. He pats your back and hugs you, you hear sniffling and you pull away. Just to see tears stream down his face. You hold on to him and hold on tighter, you both collapse in the floor and cry together. Mikasa stands and watches, with a slight smile forming on her face.

Armin came up with a fail safe plan to save the building from the titan's so it wouldn't be completely destructed. As you waited for the titans to approach. You saw the fear in everyones faces, but you had hope. It was obviously gonna work, "... Reiner. Are any of us gonna die?" You whispered.

His eyes widened as he stared at you directly in the face, "No. Meet me at one of the roofs later, (f/n)." You nodded and looked at the other side and saw Zak who was fidgeting with her fingers, with fear plastered around her face. You looked back at your first target who was coming closer. It seemed as if Marco was gonna cry, he held his gun tighter as they titan came closer. "NOW!" Reiner yelled, jumping down. You quickly slayed the titan as everyone else shot it's eyes. You laughed and looked at Sasha, who was about to get devoured by a titan. Your eyes widened as you quickly ran and attempted to kill it, right as you were, the titan quickly turned around and grabbed you by the ribs, squeezing it. Tears flowed down your face.

But suddenly, Ymir came and and sliced the nape of it's neck off. You sighed in relief and touched your rib, you squinted and laid on your back.

Terrible. You thought.
